What's new

David Stockton

We need to blow someone out so he can get 5 minutes at the end of the game and we can rest Mitchell a bit.

If we weren't in a playoff race, maybe he would. But we are, so he won't.

He is here in case we lose another PG before Neto returns. And he can keep us competitive in 12 minutes of backup time. So he either does that or gets garbage time.

So he can't be worse than someone who came in last game with the team down 10 and lead us back to the lead while taking over offensively and defensively? Wow, David must be really good.

You seem to have a very broad definition of "taking over offensively and defensively". I bet most of the games you see a bunch of different players doing it a bunch of different times. Language is a funny business.

How else would you describe someone personally getting 4 stops in a row and scoring or assisting 3 possessions in a row and across a 8 minutes was the main factor in getting the lead back after being down 10 when he checked in?

He took the game over for a brief period. I just hope he does that more and more consistently. He has a lot of low moments as well, but not that stretch in the first half.

Yes I see many players take over games in stretches. Just like Mitchell did at the end of the 4th and LA did at different points in the game.

It would be cool if he had a Sundiata Gaines moment. Maybe when we play LeBron in the finals.
