Sorry Jazz fans – Ben is the NBA Rookie of the Year

After tonight, even if Simmons wins -- because they vote before the playoffs, I believe -- I don't see how anyone can not pick Mitchell. It was simply Jordanesque the way he came out in the second half. Sure Westbrook scored more points but he took almost twice as many shots.

I dunno... Mitchell scoring 38 points tonight just proves he's a chucker, right?

With that many shot attempts, even Trey Burke would have scored 40+ points.

Mitchell did play well tonight. His rubbish shooting in the 5th game costed Jazz the game though. At the moment he is alternating between " good " and " rubbish " shooting night. He needs to improves his shot selections and effienciency.

Still blows Ben away so far as shooting, but agree he needs to improve and with his mechanics no doubt that he will.

The Jazz would not consider trading Mitchell for Simmons either. A 6 man? I know that was a shot to get me upset, but I'm not. Simply because you have said something that reveals your limited knowledge when it comes to the sport of basketball. Limited because your probably composing these messages from the basement of your mothers house, or guest room of her trailer. Your also more than likely born after 1992 making your basketball IQ amongst those of brain damaged primates. Simmons and the Sixers are in a conference where half of your teams don't belong in the playoffs. The ENTIRE NBA is debating eliminating the 2 conferences to the top 16 teams because your conference can't even look competitive during the Playoffs.

Philadelphia beat Miami.
Miami had a regular season win/loss of 44 wins and 38 losses.
Miami won 44 games out of 82 games, playing mostly Eastern conference teams.
If they were in the west they would be a 10th seed and not come close to making the playoffs.

(older, can't defend, can't distribute, respected minutes to show his worth and couldn't do it.

(how is this guy a starting player in the NBA?? Any other team he would be G-League.

(this guy is also a starter!! Any other team???...... Yep, bench warmer, water boy.

Some of the better stats from your team came from this guy, and still inconsistent productivity.

If you would like to speak about efficiency, you should probably learn how to spell it. Not the word (because of the meaning) that you would want to misspell.

Yea in the 5th game he shot 1/7. That isn't a performance to be proud of, but that ONE SINGLE shot he made was more that Simmons made in an entire 82 game season of which he played 81 of those games.

Game 4 he shot 3/8 from the arc @ 38%, not far off from Simmons free throw percentage.

I'm being a little harsh, because I know Simmons is actually a real legit player in the league, not to mention, I love Embiid's play, demeanor, comment's etc.

But lets mention efficiency,, or (Effienciency) as you like to call it.
Ben Simmons - Free throw%- 56% Is that efficient?
So bad at shooting 3's he doesn't even attempt them. Isn't that a must for a Point Guard?? 0% ALL YEAR LONG
Philadelphia 76'ers- Tanked from 2013 to 2017 to assemble a team that could win more than 40 games. Is that efficient?
- Won 75 games over 4 years combined. Efficient??

Your familiar with cricket because that's all you heard for 4 straight years while your team intentionally lost games. (Crickets) And that's also what you hear when you come home, walk into your bedroom in your mothers basement, only to converse with the motionless pleasure doll you keep under your bed. Sadly that motionless doll is the best thing you have going for you right now.
