Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Kings are the huge winners from last night. I kinda hope they land Doncic 2nd then Mo Wagner 36th. That'll still leave em with a huge chunk of capspace and a few roster spots.

3 man platoon at PF of Skal Labissiere, Harry Giles and Mo Wagner would be entertaining.

The kings holding that 2nd spot adds mystery to this draft, expect vlade to hold his cards close to his vest and try to drum up the best price last minute.

If u watched khris middleton shoot in college it was pure coming out of his hand with nice arc and tight rotation, Troy Brown's 3 is not that far along

K but percentages matter and 32% is not lights out... especially since he had 3 years to improve. Troy has some work to do but so did Khris... pretty shots that miss still count for 0 points.

U sound like smeone who cant shoot a basketball well... good shooters, like good dart throwers or good bowlers or golfers can be judged on the quality and consistency of their near misses. All misses are not the same.

To try and go back in time and nitpick the quality of khris middletons 3pt shot is hilarious. Am i supposed to believe you saw him take 1 3pt shot in college?Lol.... Are you a Texas A&M fan or something?

Say whatever you want, but I play 2 or 3 times a week and I doubt there are many that post here that are better shooters than I am.

Unless you have charted their misses you are guessing on the consistency of their misses. I play enough to know there are guys that shoot the ball and it looks ugly but it goes in... there are also guys who have pretty jumpers that seem to miss more than they should. There are guys who are straight broken... I don't think Brown is... Khris had to make the ball go in more... so does Troy. Not every guy figures it out, but don't ignore math.

MIddleton's last season was riddled with injuries iirc, so it hurt his overall percentages.

Your math is flawed and reliant on small sample sizes which are far more volatile than you seem to realize, ask lonzo ball. Post some khris middkleton college highlights u will see him splashing in 3's, he was playing out of position there too.

Yes, his last season in college.

K... his first season he was 32.4%... Troy was 29%... I get it mechanics are better. Was just really commenting on the comparison and PGAB saying they aren't good comps cuz Middleton was "lights out".

It's not "my math"... its math. He shot 32% from three 75% from the line his freshmen year... Brown was 29% and 74%

I understand sample sizes

I’d be fine with Troy Brown at #21. I’ve got guys I like better, but if they’re off the board it’s a decent roll of the dice.

I’m a big fan of Anfernee Simons. The more I look at the kid, the more I like him. I think he could be a major swing for the fences pick. I’m not sure what his range is though.

Warming up to the idea of swapping the non-guaranteed guys for a move up to get a guy DL wants. Start with Denver at #14 (Farried), Washington at #15 (Gortat), Phoenix at #16 (Chandler) and finally Milwaukee at #17 (Dellavedova) and hope that you can get a guy you covet.

Troy Brown's role and stats at Ore. are similar to Jaylen Brown's at Cal. (Same conference) Both were 29% 3-pt shooters that need a year or two to improve. Jaylen is the better athlete, but Troy can do more with the ball in his hands.

Troy Brown's ceiling would be as a point forward in the mold of a Paul Pierce, imo.
