Kokoskov not stealing any Jazz coaches

That's surprising. I thought he would wait until Quin promoted someone, and then offer the top assistant job to whoever Quin didn't choose.

I hate to say it but I think Igor going to Phoenix was a mistake. I think the Jazz coaches must agree to a certain extent too.

Not sure what this means. Maybe igor doesn't think his fellow coaches are that talented. Or maybe it's out of respect for Quin. I do think he should probably get a former head coach to be his #1 assistant.

I don't think it's a mistake to go to Phoenix. That team has some talent in Booker and Jackson. There's some others that maybe Igor can develop (like Chriss, Ulis) And they'll add Ayton or Doncic. Need to tank another season and add one more high draft pick. And get Payton to lose the mop.

How is that a mistake? Head coaching offers dont grow on trees. You take anything offered. You can always go back to being an assistant.

Agreed. Assuming the Suns ownership lets him do this thing, that's a good situation for him as well. I'm pretty sure either Doncic or Ayton help them and they've got some good pieces already. Igor is a great developmental coach with good X/O's experience so it's actually a fantastic fit. I'm pretty sure him not poaching anyone off of our coaching staff was partly respect to Quin and the organization, the staff being happy where they are at, probably some extra bonuses that just miraculously showed up, and Igor wanting to do his own thing.
