Sorry my Aussie friends but as a Kiwi I'd love nothing more than the French absolutely annihilating the Aussies. Hoping for a 4-0 score.

BTW the All Blacks are also playing France in rugby right before that Aussie match, so the All Blacks thumping the French, then the French thumping the Aussies straight after would absolutely make my day.

Ya high scoring games are always fun. That’s what sucks about soccer. Not very often do you see 6 goals scored in a game. They need to find a way to increase scoring somehow.

Nah it was a penalty but not a yellow card Risdon made a genuine play on the ball, to the naked eye it looks like Risdon gets a touch on the ball then the player, it looked like a correct call until slowed down.

As always we are the first victim of these new rules. I have a hunch tho if the roles were reversed and it was a french player making that challenge on an Australian it would not have been given.

As an example the handball by the french centre half was deliberate and deserved a yellow, which was not given.
