Shabazz Muhammad dead?

I read an article in the middle of the night last night regarding a 25-year-old former NBA player who played for UCLA who died in a police standoff. I can't find anything related to it now but apparently he was acting erratically and his mother called the police. He barricaded himself in his home and ended up firing at the police and they returned fire. Later they entered the home and found him deceased. In the comments section someone said it was Shabazz.
