Everyone adds 15 lbs in the off season because most players lose that during the season. Rudy definitely does not need to get any bulkier. More weight just leads to more knee issues. Rudy making 40% of his open looks from 15 to 18 ft out would add multitudes of possibilities to an already dynamic Jazz offense.

Opponents would encourage Rudy shoot 2s @40% all day long. It would make our offense worse.

15 lbs is never nothing.Sure he does. 15 pounds is nothing on a 7 ft. frame, especially for a guy who is already fairly svelte. His knees would probably benefit from more weight since some of it would end up on his legs. He wouldn't lose any quickness. I bet Rudy is the type of guy that has trouble putting on weight. He did it big time several summers ago but it probably wasn't easy. A little more mass would make him that much more beastly, IMO.
