This just in. Kanter's mom thinks Kanter should go first too.
Well, that could work out for us.
Rubio's "Decision Euro-style" on Friday could change the whole draft. If he hasn't reached a buy-out decision, Minny could very well stay put and take Irving. Then they trade Rubio's rights next season. That may leave the Jazz deciding between Williams and Knight. If DWill can play SF, you go with him. If not, the Jazz stick with Knight. Favors-Jefferson-DWill2-Hayward. That's a very good, young core. Harris holds the PG spot until he can be replaced. Fredette at #12 if he falls?
I'm still leaning towards Knight and Singelton. I think both those guys can be starters and with Favors, Jefferson, Hayward and Knight, you have three legit scorers, Favors who can get a double-double by just cleaning the glass, and then Singleton to play shut-down defense, with no pressure to be a scorer.
Not if The Jazz don't start putting out some serious signals that they're drafting him.
i think our hand is significantly strengthened if people think we're after enes.

PKM or Hotttnickkk?
Undoubtedly. I hope you're right about the timing issue. This is EXACTLY why I thought the FO would be leaking rumors about our sure-fire desire for Enes. Perhaps they are sure the other FOs would be confident that such a leak, if too early, would be disingenuous, and we may see such development this week. I think our hand is significantly strengthened if people think we're after Enes.
If Cleveland takes Irving #1 and DWill goes #2 to Minny, the Jazz should take Kanter. Cleveland then has no choice but to take Knight and swap picks with us. Our fee? Their second round pick. This is EXACTLY why I thought the FO would be leaking rumors about our sure-fire desire for Enes. Kanter is the only possible big man that Cleveland could pair with Irving? Wow. We really do have them right where we want them. I say we force them to give us Irving for Kanter. Assuming they don't notice the gap in logic we'll be golden! If Cleveland takes Irving #1 and DWill goes #2 to Minny, the Jazz should take Kanter. Wait...what? That's like saying, if you want this Rolex, you have to give me a coupon for a free whopper. No thanks, Kanter is a top 3 pick, if you move up just one spot, it's not worth a 2nd rounder.
