What's new

Korver is trash

Just an FYI... goink is not a typo.

Also Korver was really solid on defense... got torched by Steph when he had to cover for another player that wasn’t back quick enough... I don’t expect you to actually see what is going on though... you seem like the type that can’t see the truth in front of your face and enjoys the smell of your own farts. You and PGAB should hang out.

Hack up to his brilliant ways here.

This is my new favorite thread. Well done!!

*facepalm*

What happened? I missed the game.

It’s almost as if you couldn’t have been more wrong... this happens sometimes but not usually so quickly.

Sounds like he went off for 30 or so. Ill give you the win on this, and take your word for it that he had superb game.

Lets do this. We'll keep track like a score. Every time he has a good game you get a point. Every bad game I get a point. Starting tonight. You are up 1-0

His first game was pretty good too, so... at least 2 pts right?

Ummm. No. Why would we count just those two games? Why not count every game? He has had 5 games with less than 5 points, 1 game with 8 pts. 5 games with 12-18 pts. Never eclipsing 4 assists or 4 rebounds. In fact only doing it once.

Sure, Ill give him 2 pts out of the 11 possible points.

Its now

NPC 9
Handles 2

I lead 9-2

Fair enough, honestly it would be the only way to prove your point. If you want to keep a tally of his good/bad games you may have a point.

Ummm no. Korver has at least 5 points in this game of yours. Your logic is jacked. -- A side note, why the hell are you rooting for him to fail? Is that how you look at life? You just want all those around you to fail so that you can say you were right?

Please answer all three questions in complete sentences.

Ah, here is the thread I was searching for this morning.

Mods, delete all my posts in this thread and then close and lock it please. Thanks.

Korver looked unguardable last night. The most impressive play I saw from him was actually on a miss. He got the ball and was covered extremely tight and he jab stepped but the defender smartly didn't react so then korver just kinda moved the ball around quickly and did some fakes and then quickly rose up and launched that high elevation high release lightning quick shot. The defender played perfect defense but it didn't matter. Korver still got his shot off as if he were wide open.

On many (most) if his attempts this year he has been extremely tightly contested but the contest doesn't really change his shot at all. He knows that with his high elevation, high release, and quick release that there isn't much the defender can do. The shot is nearly unblockable and he knows it so he just shoots the same as he would if he were wide open and the contest has little to no effect on him.
It's quite incredible to watch really.

He needs to shoot more.

Hack is an idiot who has never once admitted to being wrong before and never will. Best to just put him on ignore

Yeah. He’s getting up 10.6 attempts per 36, which is awesome as I’ve always wanted a legit three point shooter with a green light. His first stint with us he only got like 5 attempts per 36. And it’s great that most are heavily contested.

So many regrets about his first run with us. I felt he was under utilized and was no fan of the Hayward pick then compounded by “we felt we didn’t need to bring Korver back because we drafted Hayward.” Then he went off and eventually became an all-star in Atlanta and is like, what, #3 or #4 on all time threes made list?

He’s also averaging a career high in points per minute. 18.4 per 36 currently.

Sloan was a great believer in the pick-and-roll, but no way would he have a player set a pick to free up a Korver 3-point shot.
