Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

Iowa State is impressive. Haliburton is probably their best NBA prospect followed by Shayok, Weiler-Babb and Wigginton. But they play smart, can shoot it and have some depth.

Zion was really impressive today vs Clemson. He showed the entire arsenal. 25 and 10 on 9-11 FGs. He's just so good. Barrett was less selfish than i remember seeing him all year - for once wasn't unwatchable. And it's crazy how bad Reddish sucks at college basketball. He is the reason one and done is a good thing - if he doesn't play college ball, he might have been a top 5-8 pick in the draft. and he sucks. sucks at pretty much every aspect of playing basketball at the college level. it's not just piss poor shooting, but he has so many negative plays out there.

Reddish and Grimes are probably the two most disappointing highly touted freshmen i've seen. Though to Grimes credit he has made himself useful by playing smart and being a hustle guy. He's a smart and skilled passer, he hustles and he's a decent spot up 3pt shooter. Doesn't try to do more than he's capable. But dude isn't an NBA player and probably never will be.

I'd have Horton-Tucker as ISU's 1/2 prospect with Haliburton right now, clearly ahead of the other 3. Great feel and defensive versatility (6'4 240 will do that for you).

Shamorie Ponds - super quick, rapidly improving jump shooter, solid citizen. 3 year college player.

Size might be an issue but you can do a lot worse in the second round.

I'm convinced: This draft is going to be trash if you don't get the 1st pick

Maybe there are some good 3&D role players, but holy hell there arent any "cant miss" high upside picks outside Zion.

Zion could be a once in a life-time type player, but after that, I just don't know.

I still like Barrett, but he also has a lot of Wiggins to his game without the elite athletic ability. He's probably a starter, but I'm not sure he's a good one.

The last two drafts provided the next generation of stars. This draft will probably supply the next generation of Jeff Greens.

I think this reason that Dl should use this draft pick to bring in a player.

I'd be good with using a late second on him. He's so improved this year.

I watched that Joe Wieskamp yesterday. He actually does look pretty promising. Not sure I agree with him being a surefire NBA player, but he is someone to keep an eye on next year.

I'm having a hard time getting excited about this draft. Outside the top 5 guys, I like Sekou and Deandre Hunter as forwards. I like Garland and Morant as guys who could contribute within a year or two, but I think we're looking at drafting in the early 20s again. I like the potential of Dort and Grimes as big guards who should be able to get where they want to go on the floor, but they're probably gone too. If Nassir Little drops somehow, I'd probably take him. The shooting guard at USC looks good as a 2nd-option scorer, but apparently he's also rising up the draft boards. Samanic is giving me Jerebko vibes. Bol Bol's foot problems and other medical questions could cause him to drop, but I'm not into it. Louis King could be worth taking a flier on, but he needs some physical development to get on the floor.

What we really need is a young, healthy Danilo Gallinari.

This draft is weak overall. I think Reddish going be a better pro then RJ. Zion I'm staying mute on. There no one like him and there always injuries. DeJaun Blair was undersized beast and wasn't same after he blew out his knees.

Rodion kurucs. But yeah who needs him when we could have the great Grayson Allen?

I don't think Kurucs has turned into much so far. He plays a bit for the Nets doesn't he?

24 pts on 5/8 from deep last night. He’s had some good games. I’ve watched him a few times and been impressed.
