Triple double for the Clips off the bench. 31 points 10 rebounds, 10 assists, a block and a steal.
Maybe if West is demented enough, he can mistake Jazz and utahjazzz for credible people and we can do Exum/Bradley for Williams/Beverley.0% chance they'd trade him to us
Honestly, though, if there were a way to trade Exum for Williams I’d totally do it. If no other trade was happening, I’d send along our draft pick. It would allow us to do whatever it is we’re doing this summer by not affecting (actually helping) the cap, and we’d have a guy on a great contract for a couple years.Maybe if West is demented enough, he can mistake Jazz and utahjazzz for credible people and we can do Exum/Bradley for Williams/Beverley.
I'd love too. IMO he's exactly what our roster needs. He can create his own shot and he can score. And those are the two things this current Jazz team needs. I know he's not a great defender but for what we need he doesn't have to be.
I don't think that the Clippers would be opposed to trading him either. They have a bunch of guards. Many of them are young and need time to develop (SGA, Robinson, Thornwell, etc). And Jerry West wants to be a big baller in 2019 free agency so moving a 3 year contract for expirings is possible. He might see it as a more potential money I have to work with the better type of scenario.
The problem is that the only logical trade scenario worth thinking about for both sides that I can find is Lou Will plus some salary filler for Derrick Favors.
The Jazz go...
Gobert/Udoh
Crowder/Oneale/Sef/Niang
Ingles/Korver/Oneale/Sef
Mitchell/Lou Will/O'neale
Rubio/Exum
This would vastly improve our offense. Spacing would be much better. Quin could mix and match a lot of different lineups. And honestly I don't think that our defense would drop off THAT much from this trade. Ekpe is underrated on D. We would likely need another big from another trade or FA tho.
The Clippers get a starting Center which is something that they don't currently have. Allowing Harrell to come off the bench (where he's more effective) at all times. They also get more flexibility this summer because Favors is expiring. They can keep him or use the money elsewhere. And they free up minutes for their young guards.
