Can We Trade for Lou Williams?

we literally have zero asset to trade for him, which is no surprise for a team that only has eight NBA caliber players on the team at the moment, excluding Dante and Thabo who have been hurt.

I have heard that the clippers are going to chase the big dogs this summer. We have expirings.

If they took Sef and Bradley for him I'd do it in a heartbeat. Our team would be insane. I don't think that they are that desperate to just dump him though. We'd likely have to give them something of greater value, like Favs. They are in need of a starting C. Gortat is declining. Boban is only good for spot minutes. Harrell is good but he's a bench guy.

Bring in Royce and Jae with around 5:00 left in the 1st for Joe and Faves.

Start the 2nd quarter by running out Lou-Korver-Joe-Jae and Faves.
 
Royce/Lou would be a great end-game hockey substitution combo.
 
I think we'd have a chance at getting Lou and I'd trade for him in a heartbeat. He is exactly what the Jazz need, a 6th man who can create his own shot and is instant offense.

Here are a couple trades I think would work, especially if the Clippers will be playing for the future instead of trying to make the playoffs this year. They are in 8th place right now but I think that will change quickly once Bron Bron is back healthy for the Lakers.
