Perhaps KOC can find a way to include Bell, Miles and Tomic and we get #2, Johnson, Wall and Minnesota's second rounder.
 
I'm with Thriller (except I don't think our team especially sucks). I hope we stay at 3 & 12 unless the move to 2 only involves Okur (who I've always liked but who may be done realistically -- these situations are like putting down a pet), Bell and/or next year's 2nd rounder.

Or, on reading infection's post, I'd include Tomic in this list. Forgot all about that guy!

Yeah, I'm fine with Williams or Kanter so losing an asset (Millsap) just to move up one spot is annoying.
Don't do it unless the Jazz get more - like a 2012 pick.

Our team sucks. And Minny's garbage doesn't help us.

We need to get as many good players in the draft as possible. We cannot build via free agency (since no one wants to come to a small market team in Utah). Hopefully build a championship team via the draft. Some picks will work out while others won't. Lets try and keep as many picks as possible to increase our chances.

I'd rather have Ridnor than Ronnie Price. L Hayward can shoot the ball pretty well. Remember, in that scenario I outlined above, we're only giving up Memo's expiring. If this could pick up good bench players and help us move up to DWill2, then I'm all for it.

To me, Ridnor and Price are the same. Crappy players that won't help us win a championship.

And giving away someone of quality, like Millsap, for another crappy backup PG and one move up the draft board isn't worth it.

Hold serve. Take whoever Minny and Cleveland don't take. Whether it is Williams or Kanter.

Seriously, the worst thing we could do to these teams, is keep Millsap on our team and add even MORE pieces to our team.

There's nothing more that other NBA teams would love to see, is for us to panic, and give away draft picks, or in attempts to move up one spot, give away a quality player.

And for you dummies that think that teams are interested in Raja or CJ, get real. Please? No one wants CJ or Raja. Period.

besides, the main point is that you're giving up a ghost as part of a deal to get DWill2. The only way to disagree with this ... that I can see ... is saying that we could get more for Memo's contract.
 
Giving Millsap away to get Williams instead of Kanter would be a terrible move. In fact, I'd rather gamble on Kanter, instead of a guy who may or may not have a true position in the NBA. If it's Okur or Bell though, I'm all for it.

I prefer DWill2 over Kanter slightly but slightly doesn't=significant asset (read:Milly) in my book. Anything more than fodder like Bell/future seconds and I'd prefer to stay at 3. No one in this draft is a guaranteed "homerun".

Dude, and honestly, use your head. No one is going to give us the #2 and someone like Ridnour for the #3, Memo, Raja, or CJ. Use your head. Seriously.
