Simmons stats last year was much better than Rudy's stats this year and simmons could not make the all star game last year ; in a much weaker eastern conference as well. Doncic is arguably more deserving of an all star spot than Rudy this year, but he has not been picked either. Calm down jazz fans.

using some idiots' logic on this forum ( who downplayed Simmons's stats) ~ Rudy 's rebounds were mostly uncontested and most of his points came from dunks and 1~3 feets from the rim.
He can't shoot and does not have a jumper.
There are probably a few more deserving candidates than Rudy.

I think Simmons deserves to be an allstar. He is a great player

fwiw I thought Simmons got robbed when he couldn't even get a replacement spot, but Simmons was not the DPOTY and leading the league in win shares last year. Not the same in the slightest.

Yea Rudy should be an all-star over KAT. TNT discussion said he probably didn't make it because Utah started out slow. No mention of having a brutal schedule and the fact that KAT is on a losing team. Jazz need to get Rudy more shots so he can score over twenty points and then maybe people will pay attention. Any coach who didn't vote for Rudy should ever preach defense because it is obvious they don't care about it.

I feel bad for Rudy but the All-star game is boring and I only watch it if the Jazz have a player in it so I guess I will have some free time that weekend.

I agree the slow start when Utah was "suppose" to start out as one of the premier teams after last year was like a balloon deflating and like it or not Gobert gets tagged with that. Undoubtedly he's playing dominant right now but the slow start hurt his chances .
