MLE is enough to get a good stretch 4... Rudy Gay... nikos market is declining imo... there are others. I just don’t think we need a Conley type pg next to DM and he’s a little older. I am a much bigger fan of Conley than someone like Love.

We get an all star caliber player who fits the team perfectly and wouldn't overshadow Mitchell.

Sometimes you just gotta make your team better when the opportunity comes around. Cap space isn't going to give us good playoff minutes.
 
The problem is, is that Conley can’t be our only move. What we’re left with realistically after that, though, kind of makes it be our only move.

My concern is he doesn’t fit the time line, and I’m assuming we can’t add another star after that. I don’t see Conley as a third star, other then just an upgrade. He doesn’t really move the needle as far as our ability to compete in the west. I don’t think he gets us to the third round of the western playoffs even. I don’t get this kind of move

He's top 5 most efficient point guards in the NBA. He also puts up 20 a night. The difference is massive.

the good thing about conley on the jazz is that he'd have less pressure playing with much better depth on utah compared to memphis. his minutes could be better managed i think even though he's only playing 34 per game currently.
