Joe Ingles calls the Jazz’s trade rumors a “sh*ty situation” for the names of guys in discussion. “It’s not good for anyone especially when you’ve got such a tight group of guys that want to be here, that enjoy being here and play well together so we’ll see what happens,” he said
 
If Exum really is the killer for the deal, then I don’t know what the hell we’re thinking. Totally agree not to overpay, but if you value Conley that much but think Exum is too much, then I’d say we’re not evaluating our players very objectively.
 
Sefolosha, Bradley, second rounder for Niko. Keep everyone else.

Exum in the two weeks before he twisted his ankle looked pretty damn tantalizing.
 
Dante doesn't get called for fouls on Harden that everyone else does for a few games last year and suddenly he's the missing piece. Give me a ****ing break.

Play well except when they face the upper tier of teams like Portland (2x) and Houston. Trades only happen when there's a need to improve. Well, unless there's financial considerations or need for a rebuild, which isn't the case with Utah.

I don't see Conley as a huge upgrade. So I'm not going to be brokenhearted if a trade doesn't happen because Memhis wants too much.

Do you know how many actually really good players have been snubbed from the Allstar game?

There is not a chance in hell he ever becomes an allstar.

First we are praying he can even get on the court. Then we have to pray he can play more 20 min without wetting the bed with turnover and bricks. Then he would have to become a starter. Then he would have to have some good games. Then he would have to start having great games,,.. for a few years. Lets see if that happens before we start talking bout allstar possibility. Donavan Mitchell hasnt even made the allstar game.

The fringe possibility of signing a max player > the fringe possibility of Dante Exum being a consistent net-positive contributor
 
I suspect the issue may be Exum plus a first rounder. It is probably an either/or thing from the Jazz perspective. The fact that the Gasol trade has been botched so badly is a bad omen. Grizzly are probably trying to save face at the expense of the Jazz.

Screw 'em.

I would totally give up Exum for Niko. The problem is, is that I would do it, but DL wouldn’t.
 
Feels like the Dennis doesn't want to look like a fool and the Grizzlies are trying way too hard to fleece everyone when they really don't HAVE to make a move.
