Hayward's Woes

If Haywood gets traded for any type of value, I guess we will finally have irrefutable proof of White Privilege.

The sweet sound of boos on the TD Garden after the celts blows a 28 pts. lead to the clips.

The bonus track, the awfully familiar Haywood's TO with the celts down 4 and 1:35 to play in the 4th.

Woes indeed.

Maybe this is more general nba related but idgaf.

From last nights celtics vs clippers game: It was the largest comeback in the NBA in the past two seasons and the largest in Clippers history. It was the biggest blown lead by the Celtics since Dec. 5, 2003. And it came two nights after Boston gave up an 18-point lead to the Los Angeles Lakersat TD Garden.

Marcus Morris blamed the loss on the team's lack of cohesion, calling the Celtics' effort "unacceptable" and saying Boston hasn't had fun while playing in a long time.

"I mean, for me, it's not really about the loss," Morris said. "It's about the attitude that we're playing with. Guys are hanging their head. It's just not fun, it's not fun. We're not competing at a high level. Even when we're winning it's still not fun. I just don't see the joy in the game.

"I watch all these other teams in the league, guys up on the bench, up on the court; they're doing stuff that looks like they're enjoying their teammate's success, they're enjoying everything and they're playing together. And when I look at us, I just see a bunch of individuals.

Good times in Boston lol

Gordon “I’m hoping you guys lose with me out” Hayward.

ijazz to teh narrative rescue, doe.

In regards to the "its not fun" comment and "guys are hanging their heads" comment, I rarely felt that hayward was having fun when he was playing for the jazz. Just seemed like a job to him. Also would see him hanging his head frequently. Never seemed to be much of a leader. When his jazz teammates would get involved in an altercation you could typically find hayward far away from the action. When a non hayward jazz player would hit a huge game winner type shot most of the jazz team would be jumping for joy and chest bumping and going wild. Hayward could often be found mildly clapping.

From realgm comments section on MM’s comments:

There is only one way forward for the Celtics and that is to waive Hayward. Until Hayward is gone, the Celtics cna be nothing more than mediocre.

Daddy's always happy.

He's passionate about gaming. He actually had played well just prior to that turnover. Hit a nice jumper and a three. The Jazz miss the type of player he was in his last year here. What Boston has shelled out around $55million for to this point, they do not miss.

Looks like Boston has an ego problem I wonder how Quin would handle a roster like that
Brad doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who can handle dynamics like that. Seems a little too passive. Kinda like a Hayward.

Brad's problem is he's too close to a certain player who is putting up 11-5-3 on poor shooting, but is making a fortune. Whatever Stevens does/says holds no credibility since the other players know he will never hold Hayward accountable.

The unrest is gratifying. Kyrie is going to take the quickest exit out of town...if he's smart. Morris will follow. I haven't seen anyone hop on the Morris bandwagon as a possible target for the Jazz. Seems like he'd be a very good option. He's shooting 41% on his 3's and from his comments, would like the camaraderie of the Jazz team. He's not a star, but between him and Crowder, the 4 would be a solid position for Utah. Only in the case of striking out on other free agents, of course.

Kyrie is a cancer in that locker room. Maybe we will take Haywood off their hands if Ainge gives us all their first round picks this year which I think is 4.
