Did you read what he said. He was arguing that Exum wasn't as good as sefolosha and udoh. I'm telling him to shut up. Read what he said. I never said Dante was better than Donovan. I said if he gets a jump shot he could be. He's 5 inches taller than him, faster than him. With his physical attributes of course he potentially be better.

He isn’t. He has a higher ceiling and perhaps more potential than them, and shows more flashes than them, but the reality is that he’s just not better than either of them currently, especially in his chronically injured form.

-Neither Udoh or Sefolosha are on guaranteed contracts heading into the big cap space year (the only time salary matters for basketball purposes is in the context of being under the cap or above the luxury tax, a situation the Jazz haven't really been in since while Sefolosha and Udoh have been on the team).

My point isn't how great Sefolosha and Udoh are, my point is that even compared to end-of-bench players, Dante Exum is substantially and demonstrably worse at winning games. This isn't even actually my point; it's in response to your completely baseless claim that Exum is 'objectively' better than either player, which makes your claim that Exum is worth twice the salary (actually a lot more than that) almost-hilariously ****ing off.

We don't have to be flagrantly intellectually dishonest about this. Exum isn't good and he's being paid insane money on a longterm deal considering the reality of the situation.

I'm of course going to hope that he learns how to shoot, have good posture, breathe properly, and not shatter with nearly-impressive regularity. Nobody is actually rooting against Exum.

Word on the street is that he actually died before the trade deadline, yet DL was still unwilling to include him in the Conley deal.

Once I realized you were trying to say Exum is worse than Thabo and Udoh, I just stopped reading. The fact that anybody liked this comment at all is a moron when it comes to this subject. You aren't a moron overall, but with this subject where so much hate is brewing, you're a moron.

Thabo and Udoh have made more money than Exum the last two years. Exum has given more than Thabo and Udoh the last two years. So in essence, if any of you are going to cry so much about Exum, cry harder about the waste of salaries that Udoh and Thabo are.

And don't say anything about next year because you can't complain about Exum being overpaid next year until you see out this year.
