Utah Jazz 2018-19 Championship Bus CHOO CHOO

I’m def on board with Satoransky. Rubio blows when he plays and dude can’t be counted on to do such due to injuries or being beaten up.

I have no idea what the market would be for a guy like him. Maybe a 2+1 at about 10 per? No idea.

I’d prob go a frontloaded 4/40. Dude could start here and that price tag is cheap and will look even better when the cap goes up the next two years.

Get da Czech!

I’m thinking 4/40 isn’t enough. Would prob have to do like 4/50 or something but even that is cheaper than Rubio now and will look cheap in a couple years, especially if it’s frontloaded.

Sat has a TS% of over 60% the last two years and is >40% from 3 (albeit on minimal attempts) the last two years. He’s 27 which is perfect for our timeline. He’s 6’7” and can therefore switch with Donovan on d if needed. He makes too much sense. Get this kid.

If we could get him at 4/50 and opt out of Faves and redo him at like 3/40, I think we’d have some solid money available for a solid bench FA.

Or Beverley. Dude’s splits are great the last few months. We need scoring but his % and d and nastiness at a cheaper price of maybe 4/35 would be sweet.

Satoransky and Ross or Bev and Ross is prob my ideal, realistic summer. Opt out of Faves and rework him at 3/35-40 and I’d be very happy. Opt out of Korver and redo him at 2/8, promising him some FO role when he retires and that would be the cherry.

Gives us way more assets moving forward. Ross, Bazley, two 1sts in 2020, dare I say Exum.

@Wes Mantooth on a tear in this one. DL, take note and hire this man as a trade consultant.

I can’t take credit for Satoransky. Someone else proposed it a month or more ago. That said, it’s legit option we need to consider. I also think Derrick White should be too though I’m not sure the Spurs would part with him.

That would probably be my first realistic choice but it would take a little more.

Trade Allen, Bradley and a 1st for Derrick White.

Even then, I really doubt that’s enough to get it done.

So... 2019/20 season could be wide open.

Only need three things to happen.

1. Jazz upgrade at the 1 or 2

2. Durant goes to the Knicks

3. Kawhi stays on Toronto instead of joining Davis on the Lakers.

Then it’s around a dozen team race.

Jazz, Warriors, Lakers, Thunder, Nuggets, Blazers, Rockets, Raptors, Celtics, Sixers, Knicks

Hell. Maybe even the Mavs if things go right.
