Utah Jazz 2018-19 Championship Bus CHOO CHOO

Jazz should beat Denver and then see what happens in the Houston/OKC game. If Houston falls into the 4th seed, we may want to lose to the Clips and drop into the 6th seed. That would get us a Portland/Denver draw.

Jazz would need to lose to Denver as well as lose to the clips to get 6h

There's no way that the Jazz will ever purposely lose. We're facing Portland in the 4/5 matchup. Then we're gonna get swept by the Warriors.

I don't see how we don't get the rockets. The rockets wont care to play tough against the thunder

The Rockets are going to be very motivated to beat the Thunder. Not only do they want to avoid Golden State in the second round but there's also a slight chance they could pass Denver and move to 2nd.

I think we might win one against the Warriors this time. Of course, if we stay this unhealthy, I don't think we can get past the Blazers.

Please, Houston, beat the Thunder or the last day of the regular season is going to be a mess. Just win one more game.

We tip off about 30 minutes prior to the HOU/OKC game so won't have the ability to know if we can rest guys or not.

Our health is really the biggest issue.

DNP’ing guys would keep our options open in what way? Wouldn’t it (and a loss) pretty much lock us into the 5th seed?

If Houston losses at OKC they probably finish 4th. Jazz lose out and we can finish 6th. There by avoiding Houston and GS until the WCFs

Portland would have to win the last two and Houston would have to lose that game for them to tie. Seems like it’s asking a lot. And even then, Portland has the tiebreaker over them?

Ya Portland has the tie breaker over Houston. So if what Stoked says happens we would play Portland in the first and probably Denver in the second and then the Warriors in the WCF

Portland's last two games are against the Lakers and Sacramento, so pretty winnable. The tiebreakers are weird in the west just about every team owns the tie breaker against the team directly above them in the standings right now.

We're pretty much locked out of the 4th seed (I don't see Portland losing out) so there isn't much downside for us.
