Utah Jazz 2018-19 Championship Bus CHOO CHOO

No way would they easily give up avoiding Golden State in the second round for a tough match-up with the Jazz and, if they win, the Warriors in the second round. The Thunder might be tough but that series isn't that much more difficult than playing the Jazz.

Frankly, had the Jazz not **** the bed for a good portion of the season, this wouldn't be nearly as ****** of a situation but yet here we are...another season as a five seed. Maybe next year the Jazz will put together a complete season and finish in the top-three so they're not dicked once again.
Could it ever be?

Such bull ****. Boh teams we need to lose make buzzer beater game winners

I say bring on the Rockets! You want to be the best, then beat the best.

You guys turn into Hayward over here? You just want the easy route? Don't be such *******!

Everyone wants the easy route. You included i think.
Pretty sure if you could choose to play the warriors in round 1 or the clippers or something, you would choose clippers. Unless you are an idiot. I dont think you are an idiot

Where is that asshat who said vlade divac is the best GM in the nba and that dl has been crap compared to divac. Good lord.

I dont even think the kings even have a draft pick this year thnx to divac.

They dont have a draft pick? Sweet then they have no incentive to lose at least

Golden State has to travel from Oakland to Los Angeles for their first round road playoff games. We will either be coming off an absolutely brutal series that we fought tooth and nail for, or we’ll be sending a beat up Rockets team. Neither would pose much of a threat at that point. Meanwhile the WCF challenger could be any of the 4 lesser teams than the two I just mentioned. Golden State will mop the floor with any of them.

The bracket really couldn’t have turned out any worse. I hope the East playoffs are fun.

I still have some hope for the kings to save us tonight.

So we finish 5th and likely get the Rockets in the first round and if by some miracle we happen to beat them we get Golden State in the 2nd round. Whoever finishes 6th likely gets Portland in the first round and Denver in the 2nd round. The 6th seed now has a great shot at getting to the western conference finals and we're probably out in the first round. This sucks!!

Yep.
If we lost last night could we have fell to 6th with another loss tonight?
Also, if we would have beat the lakers would hat have changed anything?

So I'm hearing that we could still draw Denver in round. Is that true?
If Portland wins tonight (vs kings) and Denver loses tonight (vs Minnesota) then the thunder, blazers, and nuggets all finish with the exact same record.
I heard that in that scenario Portland gets the 2 seed, Houston gets 3, and Denver gets 4.

Can anyone confirm?
That would be hilarious if Denver tanking that blazers game dropped them into 4th and we beat them.

If this is true then we still have a chance to draw any of Houston, Portland, and Denver with Houston being the most likely. I say we have about a 75% chance at getting Houston, 10% chance at Portland, and 5% chance at Denver. (If that first paragraph is true which I have no idea)

Gotta root for the kings and Timberwolves tonight!

(Jazz should just rest all their guys imo. Especially Donovan, Rudy, and Joe)

The fact that our 2nd-year stud couldn't lead our offense consistently enough (in the toughest Western Conference in memory) really does rub you raw? A 50-win season heading into an off-season with flexibility and all signs pointing up is not good?

Time to take a step back, it seems.

What happens happens. First round, second round, it’s all a runner up to actually winning it.

We need more pieces. DM and Gobert is a great start, but need a third reliable piece vs. hoping Ingles or Crowder go off.

Hope isn’t a strategy. We know what this team can do and it’s not quite enough. Take some risks or we will be an eternal footnote in NBA history.
