Guys and Gals,

I've been making jokes about how great he is and how he is destined to be a Jazzman at some point, but...

I am now dead *** serious... go get this guy. If we have him, Ingles, and Niang no team is safe from our YMCA all-stars. The guy is good at basketball... he looks like the guy that runs the AM/PM in some small meth town in NorCal... but he balls like the PG we have dreamed of... I know we have bigger things going on with playoffs and such but I want it on record now.

I will be down in summer league this year. 2 years ago I cut Bolomboy from the team making way for Royce, last year I signed Niang, this year I am bringing Caruso home. Jump on the bus now space is limited.

Is there any kind of restricted free agency coming off a 2-way? Will LA be preoccupied with missing out on other FAs that they'll overlook him? How much do we have to pay? Is Rich Paul interested in a sign-and-trade for Exum?
 
He should be on Homey's all stars. He never averaged 10 ppg in college and went undrafted. Through the GLeague had made himself a player. The last couple of years his GLeague coach has been Coby Karl (George's son) so perhaps learning how to be a scrappy street fighter has been passed down to him. I agree he looks like a convenience store clerk working graveyard.

I'm not exactly sure but they do have restricted rights... Here is the deal doe... they need to preserve max cap space an offer could throw that off because then his cap hold is the offer amount. I was thinking we could use space and do the BAE amount (like $4M ish) and that might do the trick. It seems like a lot until you realize he's very likely a multi-time all star hiding in plain sight.

These type of guys tend to fly under the radar and get minimum offers... not sure what will be out there and how much LA value him, but I'd say he is 100% gettable at a solid price.

Took a quick look a BAE type offer would take them from 34-35M in cap space to $30ish when you figure the draft pick caphold. So I think that would kinda screw them up.

If you gave Caruso Neto's good looks he'd get max offers.
 
Just need to get Koufos back and we would get two balding look a likes powering the bench.

For those of us that liked the idea of Satoransky... I see Caruso as a more cost effective version of that type of player. Super limited sample, but the guy is doing stuff out there and I think some of it is real.

Oh ****... what if we added these two and Bojan Bogdanovic... I imagine Adam Silver would step in and never let it happen but we would win all the championships if it did.

I came in here to wonder if we couldn't get both of them. Our guard depth is miserable.

Sato may get more than I'd want to offer. I am also of the opinion DM should play more at point and we should allocate resources to the wing or on the really good stretch 4 we've always wanted/needed.
 
If Ricky is gone, what about a Beverley/Caruso combo? Of course, I’m anticipating Kevin Love, so I anticipate a Ricky re-signing, but either of their two guys.

Somebody pimp up the Australian Kobe hype. Wasn’t he rumored to want to be drafted by the Lakers? What’s Rich Paul’s cell? After they fail another attempt at AD, we’ll be waiting in the wings with their consolation prize.

I think Ricky is gone... I think we do pg by committee unless we revisit the Conley deal. If we did a Love deal I assume Dante would be in that deal.

I don't know if you can trade the ded.
