I think the longer the series goes on it will be better for us

Houston starts getting annoyed , then see they have golden state waiting , the personalities in that team , they could explode.

We need Rubio healthy , he doesn’t have to do much , just run the team ...

...
Since the Rockets aren't here to defend themselves, I hope there's an internet warrior somewhere who will come and defend their honor for them. I've been told that someone has to do it.

I don’t get it.

Are Rubio and Favors back at full strength? Haven’t they missed some time recently due to injuries?

Favors looked full strength last game. It seems Faves was just held out for precautionary reasons and to get him some rest. I think the same of Rubio but he hasnt played in a few games and might be rusty but I expect him to play and unless he re injures himself to play the whole series. But thats just a guess.

I am minorly concerned that Gobert injured his ankle last game he played and it might still be bugging him.

If someone can explain to me how the Jazz can keep CP3 in check while also containing Harden I'm willing to go full biased Jazz fan but I just don't see how the Jazz expect to contain the pair of them without CP3 pulling a hamstring.

Died of cancer 8 years ago. Those last two months in hospice...the things “she” said under drugged influence...still bothers me...

It’s so rough... not how anyone should go out....

Also, eff teh rockets

Cp3 isn’t quite what he’s been in the past

Yall are forgetting that Gobert is a much bigger threat in this series than he was last year. Twice, nay thrice the offensive player. He really opens up the court for Donavan Mitchell and Visa versa. Last year spida was shut down by Capela. I dont see Spida and Gobert get shut down by Capela this year.

And sure... Austin Rivers and manimal can be X factors but so can the much improved Favors the addition of Korver and Rubio (who will guard CP3) and who we didnt have last year. I think we close the gap. Not sure we win but we definitely close the gap.

The rockets are number 1 in the league since the allstar break. Just wait until we get destroyed the first game, this thread will come toppling down

He flipped the switch last year in the playoffs after kinda coasting post ASB, and with how much better he's looked post ASB this year compared to his start of the season I don't see any reason to doubt him being able to turn it on against Rubio or Neto again this year. A healthy Exum that was playing like he did in December would make this a different story as I feel like Exum/Mitchell/Royce could have been a really good perimeter group to throw out against CP3/Gordon/Harden but unfortunately Exum died this year.

And you'll get to rub it in all our noses?

Yeah I don’t think he’s got to part years level tho. Last year he was incredible till the injury. If he’s 90% it’s going to be very hard for us. And I think Ricky defensively is going to struggle

Ya I think he's a bit short of last years level too but even 90% of last year's CP3 is more than enough when Harden is at about 110% of what he was last season too. If it was only one of them I think the Jazz have a really good shot but with the two of them together we just don't have the talent or perimeter defenders to throw at them without Exum and with Rubio's struggles on that end this year.
