They do that, not that doesn't mean they also don't innovate. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive. Anecdotally, most the people I've talked to about living in China loved it. I've asked a lot of people about their experience there and isn't almost all positive.

I've been to Hong Kong (pretty cool place) but never to mainland China. I have a cousin who has lived in China for the past 5 years. He likes living there but is glad that he gets to return here, and not just because this is home. Air pollution, government control of communications (internet), racism, etc. have all been problems for him. Of the many people I know who have visited or lived in China, one of the most typical comments is that the experience made them more grateful for what they have in America. As for innovation, I agree that those two things aren't mutually exclusive. If there is a significant amount of original innovation going on in China I would be interested to hear about it.

Take 10 seconds and google it. There are tons of huge companies making great innovations there.

Because you're not. You might think you are, but you're not.

Either that or their stupidty is cementing capitalism as the right way to do for another 100 years. Even if they do succeed in dumbing down enough the population to go with it, its only a matter of time before it ends in complete disaster, you know because socialism does every time. Then the world will be begging for capitalism again because a world wide great depression wont be fun.
