They shot 36.5% total, but I swear when it counted or when they needed momentum, they were shooting at least 50% on threes. When the game was out of reach in game 4, they throw up like 3-4 clankers. For the series the rockets shot 36.5% from three as a team... our best shooter in the series was Royce at 34.8% from three.
Go get some damn shooters DL.
It's funny you mention this, because I was searching for someone who'd be viewed as universally attractive, and I'm a little out of the pop culture game, so I even googled "most attractive people" and didn't like the results (didn't know a lot of them), and the people who a lot of people think are great I'm kinda 'meh' on, so I decided to go back a couple decades when I was more in the know, so she popped into my head. I knew she wasn't the top choice, but felt it was a more reasonable choice on the upper end of a DL spectrum.Sandra Bullock... You had the whole world at your hands, and you chose to type.... Sandra Bullock. 90's version or today. Legit question.

Love Rudy, but he can't catch a ball and throw it trhu the net unless he's absolutely well positioned. Not to mention traffic situations. That said, he really needs to add some kind of middle jumpshot/floater/hook and may be try to use his big hands for a little scoop one handed thing. That's not asking for too much I think, but it will make a giant difference for himself and the rest of his teammates.Oh ****. This gives me a major erection. Seriously. If Rudy can’t come back next year with some semblance of an offensive move or two, he never will. Could see him at about 18-19/13 next year.
Agreed. I bet he is respected. I see opposing players talking with him after games in a friendly manner.I'm not looking to argue. I'm simply posing the question. I've never heard he's disliked and quite frankly, scrums during a game doesn't mean someone is disliked. Tons of guys get into scrums most games.
Can't argue with the Logic. Sandra Bullock... 90's was legit. Good choice based on the DL spectrum (I think the DL spectrum needs to be a real thing)

Weird how this keeps being a thing. For the series the rockets shot 36.5% from three as a team... our best shooter in the series was Royce at 34.8% from three.

I like this thread. The last time I posted regularly here I was criticized for being critical of DL.
I said that he got lucky with his two best moves: Gobert and Mitchell.
He could have drafted Gobert and Giannis. Instead he traded those picks for Trey Burke. It wasn’t until Sloan vouched for Gobert that we bought back into the first round and took Gobert.
As far as Mitchell goes, Denver called us, said we heard you like Mitchell, we like Lyles, wanna trade?
DL did say yes, so there is that.
Other than Sloan forcing Gobert on us and Denver wanting Lyles, DL has been terrible, and his biggest stain is Hayward. We could have four year maxed Hayward. DL said he wasn’t worth that, knowing the cap was jumping and Hayward’s “max” deal would be a little more than Rubio’s last deal.
Instead he allows Hayward to get his own deal, which was three years instead of four.
This allows Hayward to leave a year early to Boston. Imagine another year of Hayward with Gobert and Mitchell.
Then Hayward asks for a trade to Boston the summer before he is a FA. DL could have gotten a first round pick for Hayward.
He declines, Hayward walks for nothing.
But, no. No criticism for DL. Cake baking, metrics, asset gathering and other ******** euphemisms cause he makes us “feel good.”
DL’s problem is he thinks he is smarter than everybody else in the room. And he isn’t.
Big summer for DL. If you bomb this summer and Utah ends up 5-7 in the West and Gobert is not an all star, then you have to consider blowing it up again because Gobert wants to win. And you can’t risk losing Gobert for nothing.
So get good shooter's that don't choke. Hmmm, unfortunately we can't test for that before paying them the multi million dollar contract.
This is nonsense. It’s like someone saying “I hung out with a celebrity, but I won’t say who,” knowing that you’ll assume that they must have been doing blow with George Clooney and Brad Pitt for a weekend in Cabo, when in reality they just saw Emilio Estevez at a pay phone.
It's fine you want to buy everything from the organization hook, line, and sinker. But at that point, why bother posting? It's okay to say that the Jazz don't nail every decision, after all, that's what DL says as well.
This post perfectly sums it up. If you haven't already, read it. Don't scan it, read and absorb it thoroughly. It is spot on.I like this thread. The last time I posted regularly here I was criticized for being critical of DL.
