**** us if we trade Crowder who I’m all for trading for the oft-injured Dragic who turns 33 in four days and fell off a cliff this season...and missed more than half the year.
 
Has Lindsey watched Joe Harris play basketball? And Exum? I’ve been a huge Lindsey believer and supporter but this is mind-numbingly dumb. We could’ve had Harris on a better deal than Exum. And he’s infinitely better than Exum.
 
We need to get Tobias Harris and the like out of our minds. Ain’t happening. It’s just not. Was watching nbatv. They mentioned Kemba going to Dallas. Or the Lakers. We’re not getting him either. We’re ****ing Utah. We never get anyone. Ever.
 
I'm starting to really lose optimism about this offseason. I don't think we have the assets to trade for a difference maker and landing one in free agency seems just as unlikely. I do think changes will be made but I'm not sure we will be able to acquire the type of player that will really move the needle and help us take that next step.

Yep, people are dreaming. Trades and draft are the only way we will get talent. Free agents in demand are not coming to the Jazz.

Can’t wait til someone mentions Boozer and Okur coming...15 ****ing years ago. A guy who grew up in Alaska and a Turk. As if those are the backgrounds of the studs we’re targeting. Oh yeah, and Sloan was still here and had major street cred. I love Quin but he doesn’t have ****.
 
Things I’d look to do:

Try to trade Favors, Exum and a 2020 1st for Conley.

See about trading for BJelly. Not sure how we could do it.

Trade Jae for Joe Harris. The Nets need more beef up front. Maybe they’d consider it.

Use our 1st to move up to 15-16 and get someone legit. Hopefully ala Donovan.
 
Draft Carsen Edwards hoping he can eventually become a great scoring PG, sign Jeremy Lamb, keep Favors, hope Korver retires, sign the best PG possible (Collison, Beverley, Caruso, George Hill, etc.).

We gotta hope Donovan, Exum, O'Neale, Grayson, and Niang keep improving and make an impact.

Joe Harris led the frickin league in 3p% and does a lot of other stuff cutting... decent defender... I'm not sure Jae and a first does it.

One of the many free agents we didn't pursue... even if it got matched why not throw the full MLE out there... he signed for 2years at $15M total... saaaaddddd.
