Is the second tweet also about Russell?
I think soIs the second tweet also about Russell?
Almost positive this isnt true. If this is the case, what is the benefit to team in being non-guaranteed vs team option?

Korver retiring doesn’t mean he doesn’t get paid... we could waive and stretch him and reduce his cap hit to like 1.2m so essentially the same thing.
This assumes Favs clears waivers and that he would come back... not completely out of the realm of possibility but those things would need to happen.
If Korver costs $1.2 against our cap, then so be it.
I find a hard time believing that some team is going to use their cap space to pick up Favors on a one year $18 million deal. It could happen I guess, but I just don't see the team willing to do it. Seems like Favors would get that type of deal from a team like the Lakers, but they would want to exhaust all other options first.
Agreed, which is why Rubio is such a bad fit on our team and not a winning player in the NBA ever in his career. He cant shoot and he likes to iso, shoot poorly, or run the pick and roll at low efficiency since he still cant throw a reasonable lob to a big.
Dallas maybe... You can also claim a guy using a TPE... not sure there are any big enough. I'd say there is a 30% chance someone claims him... I think the date is July 5th and the waiver process takes a couple days... so by July 6th is there a team that missed and now wants him? Maybe we waive him July 1 to force an earlier decision.
What kind of drugs are you smoking??? Rubio does not like to "ISO"! Is a complete team player that loves to get everyone involved! His pick and roll efficiency is above excellent, indicated by the fact that the Jazz LEAD THE LEAGUE IN DUNKS and his lob passes are also above average! Now, granted, his outside shooting is sometimes questionable, which is why we need to add a shooter or two to our roster that can help that situation out! Winning point guards don't necessarily have to be great shooters but they do have to be above average distributors, which Rubio IS! His defense is not all that bad either and can be covered up by the fact that our big guys are two of the best in the league in blocking shots and forcing the opposition to poor shooting percentages. Bottom line? WE NEED A COUPLE OF OUTSIDE SHOOTERS! End of story!
The Jazz aren't keeping Rubio, the sooner you accept that the better. The writings been on the wall for a long time now.
Does no one see Brogdon as a realistic possibility?
