That spot next to the Colorado river isn't a dam, it's a U.S. superfund clean up site of uranium mine tailings from Moab's mining past. They are moving 16 million tons of uranium tailings from next to the Colorado river to 32 miles north.

On my drive back, I realized it was some kind of dump. They had a **** ton, of what looked like, old and rusty under carriages to cars in the middle they were getting ready to bury.

Wasn't sure the size of my new camel bag on my new pack. Thar said, I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert on the metric system capacities. All I knew was, I was going off to a very remote and hot area and my initial boy scout instincts told me I needed to have more water in case of the worst.

Glad you watched the first minute, bro.

Got these two bikes this week. Gonna work on them and get them ripping. I plan on putting the 6.5 212 cc preditor engine from Harbor Freight (they're like 120 bucks.)

I plan on making some videos and having some fun with them. I had a tote goat when I was a kid and always wanted to get another one. KSL and haggling is awesome.

So, I traded an old computer I had in my basement for a motorcycle about two months ago. The bike wasn't working and in rough condition. Since I've had it, I've been learning how to fix her and attending Google and YouTube University and learning how to fix engines/carburetors/electrical system.

Mind you, before I got the bike, I knew nothing about fixing engines and was pretty worthless in that regard. I got the bike running a few days ago and rode it for the first time last night and got her into third gear today. There's an awesome feeling knowing you brought something back from the dead.

YouTube and Google are amazing resources. One could learn almost anything if they took the time.

I plan on doing a full bike restoration and making it into a tracker style bike. Google Honda Xl500s Cafe Racer to give you an idea, but the bike can clean up real nice.

Love new hobbies.
 


I filmed this hours before my motorcycle wreck due to a missing stop sign. I broke my collarbone in 4 pieces and my wrist. I'll be back riding soon, hopefully.
 


Kind of a weird hobby to get into later on in life, especially with a broken down body, but since buying my first dirt-bike at age 36 last November, I've had countless memories on it. Took my bike up American Fork Canyon the other night and it was amazing. So beautiful up there and full of serenity.

I wish my lower back, right leg discrepancy and hip weren't so bad because I can barely walk after my rides, but it's still totally worth it. I'm pretty sure (90%) I need surgery on my right knee, left hip and lower back again.
