I’m hanging by a thread on these freaking details!!!!! What a day. This deal creates a trade exception too right? I just read that it could give Utah their MLE.

Where the fu do we put him. Lol never thought I’d say that about himFor the Love of GOD, get Jrue Holiday
Thank god.Not the Lakers, I'm good.
No. Trades aren’t official till the 6th of July I think.Does this mean we traded him before signing Bojan and Davis.
Trade exemptions only exist if you're over the cap. Go under the cap and it'll disappear. Jazz will need cap room to get Conley, so the TPE will fizzle out. This deal creates a trade exception too right? I just read that it could give Utah their MLE.
No. No trade exception.
Class. I’ll miss the hell outta this guy.
So NO are one of the few cases where trading their superstar ended up being a win.

Vecenie already corrected himself, it’s wrong. We might get the MLE though if we can do a super sign and trade here.@Darkwing Duck so this report is wrong?
It's created, but has to be relinquished in order to have the cap space to complete the Conley trade.@Darkwing Duck so this report is wrong?
Yes. We have to move Favors to get far enough under the cap to accept Conley/Bojan, so the Favors trade happens first. Since it puts us under the cap, there’s no exception (an exception means an exception to the salary cap, and since you’re under it there’s no reason to have an “exception” because you are not in violation, if you will).@Darkwing Duck so this report is wrong?
What did Utah get in return?
