Good thing it's never been about the man but rather the policies he would employ.
Is there a line though? Like if he came to your house and shot your family, but had good policies then would you still support him?

The idea of separating the person's character from their policies is stupid to me, especially when it comes to the President of the United States.

Their duties involve things way beyond what their tax plan is, or what kind of judges they'd nominate. That you'd be OK with a moral cretin as long as they are conservative enough or liberal enough is baffling to me.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say people who make this argument for Trump don't really believe it themselves. It's just an easy out for people who don't want to actually confront the fact that they support someone so awful.

That's not a realistic or even fair question. Come on bro.
The question is, Is there a line or does what the president does "off the court" and what type of human being he/she is have no importance whatsoever? I think that's a fair question.

Would it be unrealistic for a president to order a drone strike that unnecessarily kills innocent people for instance? I think that's happened before.
What if it was your family?

Well so far everything this president has been accused of has been proven to be either wrong or a hissy fit by the left that has been taken out of context.

As for drone strikes, if it's a war zone than you have to take into account loss of life now vs potential loss of life if you don't strike the bad guys while you have them. If the gain is worth it, you take the shot, that is war, that is within ROE, and a decision that combatant commanders in the AOR have to make.

Now, I don't necessarily agree with the way President Trump delivers his messaging all of the time, but just because he is not sugarcoating it, doesn't make him wrong.

I have no issues with proudly supporting the president of the United States. So there goes that argument.
