In addition to hating on Trump, some Dem candidate is going to need to really connect with and inspire people. It's early, but they all come across pretty bland.

Fwiw Trump doesn't have charisma either.
Unless the definition of charisma has changed to childish, moronic, crazed, over the top, stupid......

It's sad that America seems to want a president that is entertaining more than smart, composed, dedicated, classy, etc.

This is also my biggest issue with Trump. I don't hate the job he has done, and will probably vote for him in 2020 (I didn't vote for him last time), but I don't like him as a representative of American culture and norms. I wish he was a good example as a father/husband/man, but that is not his primary role. I guess he is kind of like chemotherapy, nobody is thrilled with it because it causes a lot of undesirable damage but there is not a better alternative.

That is an issue but not as big as it was. China is actually encouraging parents to have a second child now. Also in Beijing the ratio is only about 52% male.
