Speaking of stereotypical partisan BS, the problem with trying to tell a joke in JFCland, is nobody here can laugh. Because the laughing end is plugged, everything just comes out the other end.
Pretty sure this joke has saved human lives.
Because, if Republicans can't laugh, they'll become Democrats.
srs. humans are God's favs, but when we think we're depending on our own wits, and being run from one panic to another by the news, we lose our tolerance for first others, then ourselves. Suicide rates. Dems have ten times the suicide rate as Republicans.
When we learn to have faith in God, we relax. Heart attack rates decline. We laugh. We smile. We roast hot dogs and marshmallows, tell campfire legends, and have sex under the stars. Life is good.

I read on the ny times that Mar a Lago was fined by Florida for having 73 violations, including rodent infestation in the kitchen. Of course, Donald’s fans don’t Care. They know this isn’t about rodents or Baltimore, it’s about insulting big cities, elitists, and minorities.

Take a look at every democratic controlled large city in this country and tell me what you find. Race has nothing to do with the fact that those cities have been run by democrats for decades and they’ve all been forgotten about. Homeless, filthy, rats, disease, violence, and poverty. Yet they still go vote for the same party that has put them in that position. It’s really amazing.

Makes sense, men with low incomes and easy access to firearms are much more likely to kill themselves. That's a big part of Trump's base.
The suicide epidemic really should get more attention, it's so sad to see so many people throw their lives away. Can't help but think a big part of this is the social stigma some people have against seeking mental health, and of course the lack of access to mental health care is a problem as well.
Sometimes, even information gleaned from a progressive advocacy site can be better than pure BS.
So far in my life, I have known of only two suicides among people I'm related to, or whom I know.
Clearly, my data is empirical and anecdotal...... and way out of line with the larger trends in the state, country, and world.
A childhood neighbor who had a serious, uncurable, and very painful health issue got hold of a gun and made his way to heaven. He was a very good kid.
An aged relative who had I think a cancer diagnosis, used his deer rifle to make a cheap exit.
I don't expect either lost grace with God.
There is a counter argument to almost any kind of do=gooder social engineering or guvmint "solution", as might be inferred from my post above.

However, my wife recently dragged me out to an LDS event sponsored by her stake, a program directed at teen problem awareness, for parents of teens. Our tow daughters are teens. The expert speaker has done literally hundreds of presentations around Salt Lake over the past few years, is a psychologist and crisis counselor. Schools send kids to her. Parents send their kids to her. yah, she was a knowitall who just might know a lot.
self-esteem and social acceptance issues in the age of Facebook and Twitter. A lot of kids are not getting themselves straight with the value of their own life, and sorta go into despair over their problems with their peers.
People should try to help these kids, personally. Set an example with brazen contempt for"liberal value shaming".... well, or "conservative value shaming"..... whatever.... Just make it plain that it doesn not matter what others think of you, help kids believe in themselves no matter what others think or say.....
After the lady did her bit, I tried to set her straight on a few things. She treated me rudely, believing she was the relevant authority.
I told her that the best way to teach self=esteem is to teach religion.... a specific religion..... that puts a very high value on human beings, essentially teaching that we are "Children of the King" when we come to Jesus. That whatever our problems or "sins" may be, God is there to help if we call on Him.
The problem with progressive philosophies and world views is that simple "materialism" really denies the value of human life, and really denies the value of personal conscience and personal self-esteem based on innate worth which does not require validation by others.
Things like freedom of belief, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and all kinds of individual rights are always under constant assault from dreamers who think they see a better way we should all just roll over and buy into.
And finally, here is what is wrong.... here is the lie, in Game's link. How do they establish the set of "Trump's Base"? They make some huge assumptions. A lot of uneducated, rural folks are Democrats, people on guvmint relief...... food stamps, unemployment..... people who have huge deductibles and co-pays under Obamacare....
I read the article and did not see any reference to actual research or polling about suicide that could establish political preference. It is all BS.,..... pretty much the same sort of thing as my own BS.

It did not change my opinion that our epidemic has more to do with taking God out of our education and other public functions. Not that I want a State Religion. I don't want Materialism to be our State Religion either. Just the freedom to speak and be what we believe in any public place, in any government-run institution. And have our rights of belief or speech absolutely Trump "Political Correctness."

OK, So Cummings did this really mean and insulting show on Trump's border honcho, essentially "shaming" him for allegedly putting babes into piles of ****..... it made Trump mad. So, essentially, Trump's response was why not solve your own problems. I think Trump had a point to make, and made it.
The babes on the Border have it pretty tough..... lots of **** to plow through.... to get to the Border. Anybody who owns a rental in a neighborhood with essentially no garbage pick-up is likely going to complain to anybody who will listen. Trump's kid, and some of his cabinet officials who are from Baltimore, have probably done of lot of complaining to Trump about Baltimore's "Sanitation Department". And anyone with a large property and no cats is going to have rats, sometimes, and is going to need to hire help to eradicate them.
This is going to be a huge political issue in the coming campaign. Trump is going to be calling out mayors and Dems officials in every "sanctuary City" and every place that is not being kept clean You wanna make up stuff about conditions on the Border? You're gonna hear about conditions all over America where people are homeless and living in filth. Our public resources are being over-run by people we are not prepared to care for.

By the way, did you know that right after Obama vowed to destroy coal business/mines..... he and some of his friends bought huge stakes in those companies, at rock bottom prices. These states have dumps, but their dumps are still the cities where Democrats are in office.....
