Here comes the recession

Bring it on!

A market correction is overdue. But with Trumpers, I hope and pray they get their just dues and this market correction is a doozy. If millions are hurt, myself included, fine with me.

At some point this country needs to learn that “Elections have consequences.”

Tax cuts for the rich, out of control military spending, refusal to address any major problems, and starting trade wars definitely have consequences. Giving the worst human being on earth command of the White House must hurt, otherwise, we’ll keep doing it.

A people to damn lazy to learn about their own government or get off their asses to vote deserves everything they get and more.

Maybe it's just some site like Mother Jones or whatever, but I think they have serious professional help on their side of the ticket. I just think I need to learn what's up, and understand what they're cookin', and stick more to the facts if I can.....

Hope not. Lots of people will be hurting. And most of us don’t need this to know he’s a horrible president.

Let’s save the some of the most vulnerable from extra stress and worry.

yah, raising our American interest rates, above what you can get elsewhere, having China get huffy and blowin' up the deals Trump has wanted in trade and NK...(NK for NuKe) could be part of the madness. I don't know wo's mindin' the store in China right now. The CFR Brit manipulators are supposed to have someone there keeping the Chinese polite... used to be Maurice Strong as in Rockefeller Banker Man. The Chinese would not only smile but jump when he gave the nod. But either we have an incompetent workin' the strings or someone has given the order to raise the Chinese ante.

But all that is all in the mix with the Epstein thing. Sure Epstein had "friends" or clients in every political stream, and most other nations to boot. But the trick here is to make the fallout all go one way. The idiot DumpTrumpsters think it will go against Trump, that Bill and others can skate free. But the babe is in Barr's hands, he's the Kingmaker.....uhhmmm....fallout shelter, of the hour.

It is an open question who will be hurting more, politically and financially, as China and the US lock horns and sink in their interlocking muck. But I think it will be a good thing for both. What will emerge is something like a more nationalist, less globalist, reality. People will just be starting new businesses locally and filling all the market niches the globalists are losing.

Net loser......: Globalism. Yay.

Capitalism says free markets and free trade create wealth. Capitalism says that Government interference in trade and the economy is harmful. Trump supporters complain about socialism yet support trump picking winners and losers in the market. You know, control of markets by the central government. Trump is a socialist.

China is playing trump like a fiddle. They called his bluff and he blinked when Kudlow told him that his threatened tariffs would ruin Xmas. If they had a coherent strategy they would have looked ahead a few steps. But trump is playing first grade checkers. The Chinese know he is weak because he is up for re-election and the economy is all he’s got. They are playing the long game while trump plays baby games on Twitter. So our leverage is blown because trump’s credibility is gone. His bluff has been called. The Chinese either get a favorable deal from a weakened trump or wait him out knowing he will lose in 2020.

Frankly, I’m surprised this hasn’t gotten as much attention as other things. I guess there’s just too much corruption and crimes going on. But a trade war with China was boneheaded from the start. They’re an one party authoritarian regime. Their citizens are used to ****** living conditions. Their leadership has no fear of the media, critics, or different parties making their life hell. We on the other hand? Aren’t built to wage economic war. People get upset when their standard of living drops. The media reports how the trade war is going. Critics aren’t imprisoned or killed. Opposing political parties critique economic policy. And elections can sweep away a political party and economic policy.

If we’re playing a game of trade war chicken, we’re going to lose and it’s not even close. Let’s quit now.

But if Trumpers want to continue with this, fine. Bad economic policy needs to be awarded with one helluva recession early next year so as to force idiots in our country to learn to never engage in this type of bad policy again.

Bad economic policy needs to be awarded with bad economic results so we don’t repeat the same mistakes. Most economists have told us that Trump’s economic policy was a bad idea from the start. Apparently, enough people didn’t listen.

To me, this isn’t about being miserable. It’s about dumb people in our country voting for a stupid *** clown for president. Elections have consequences as does touching a hot stove. At some point we gotta learn!

The flaw in your take is that this will teach them anything. Their propaganda machines will continue to spin the events of the world in whatever way suits their needs, and their narrative will follow in form.

The Deplorables addicted to Fox News and Hannity on the radio are a lost cause. I understand that. They voted for trump to stick it to the left. They’re out for revenge, not economics.

But in order for trump to have been elected you had a lot of people in the middle who either didn’t vote, voted 3rd party, or voted for him. They ignored all the warning signs and advice from their parents, church leaders, and friends and decided to get hitched to high school dropout and piercing and tattoo artist, “Spike.” Maybe after this bad experience they'll finally learn to not do that?

When have Americans ever truly learned when it comes to the ballot box? We’ve been voting in the same trash for 2 decades, at least.

Then the right comes along with “hold my beer”...
