So tempted to take the rest of the day off work, blow off the gym and go to the pub.
How ****ing good does it feel dude. So many close calls ...
I hadn't realised that the win streak was at 66, damn.
Yes, they did. I saw very little teamwork from the U.S.Commiserations fools. Best team won
You do realize we kicked your asses a few days agoUSA time to go home
The intimidation factor of USA has long gone bye-bye.
Why are people upset? Not surprising that USA lost, the guys have playing together for a month with guys coming and going. Australia has NBA players on their team and they just got beat by the USA two nights ago. The intimidation factor of USA has long gone bye-bye. However, let the Aussie's enjoy their moment. In the long run this loss is good for the USA because now they know victory isn't guaranteed. The loss means little in regards to the World Cup except maybe the rest of the world knows USA can be beat when they don't bring their A team.
I am still cheering for USA and not going to bash them for losing an exhibition game.
For Aussies, it was the God damn SuperbowlYou know, it was just an exhibition game though right?
For sure. I was happy to see Joe break out. In regards to Donovan, I’m not really sure I love all the midrange he seems to be in love with. He’s been taking a lot of shots a foot or two inside the 3 point line. The fact that USA started Marcus Smart over Kemba to get him some reps should tell you that USA more or less treated this as a scrimmage.
I’m one who’s more skeptical about him making a massive jump in PPG. Not because he can’t. We’re adding a 20+ PPG scorer and a 18 PPG scorer. My official prediction was that he increased by like 0.4 PPG, but if there was a drop by a point or two, it would not surprise me.For sure. I was happy to see Joe break out. In regards to Donovan, I’m not really sure I love all the midrange he seems to be in love with. He’s been taking a lot of shots a foot or two inside the 3 point line.
Part of that is because he didn’t get the ball enough to get in a rhythm but I do kinda wonder how Conley will end up impacting him this year. Conley can do more than Rubio, and will probably take more shots than Ricky. I’m not sure Donovan’s PPG go up this season they may go down given our roster now. These are just exhibition games and lots of tournament left to play, his defense has been solid but I have to say he doesn’t look like he’s taken that D-Wade take you to a title in his 3rd season kinda improvement so far. He’s looked pretty good overall, and I’m not one of those stats guys but he’s been taking a lot of mid-range jumpers instead of driving to the hoop or getting 3’s. He spent too much time around Melo this summer lol.
Honestly he needs the ball more though. It’s why even if Kemba has been a realistic option for the Jazz it may not have been great for Donovan’s development.
Yeah, other teams are really terrified of Mason Plumlee and Joe Harris.Yeah, mmmmmmkayy, guy.
