Following Potential 2020 draftees

Dickie V's preseason top-16;

Here we go, baby!

i

1. Kansas Jayhawks
Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk! Bill Self was happy to have Udoka Azubuike return and if he stays healthy, watch out. Devon Dotson also comes back and a nice nucleus returns.

i

2. Michigan State Spartans

Cassius Winston is a legitimate Wooden Award candidate. A healthy Joshua Langford can be a major factor. Just sorry that Nick Ward is not back.

i

3. Kentucky Wildcats

John Calipari will reload. Newcomers Kahlil Whitney and Tyrese Maxey should have an immediate impact. Ashton Hagans will have a big year and EJ Montgomery should improve.

i

4. Duke Blue Devils

No Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett or Cam Reddish, no problem. Tre Jones is back and Vernon Carey Jr. is the next diaper dandy to step up.

i

5. Louisville Cardinals
Chris Mack has done a great job in a short time. Jordan Nwora is back and big things are expected from 6-foot-7 Samuell Williamson. Transfer LaMarr "Fresh" Kimble from St. Joseph's will help.

i

6. Florida Gators

Mike White added a major piece of the puzzle when Kerry Blackshear came to Gainesville from Virginia Tech. He is a difference-maker. The return of guards Andrew Nembhard and Noah Locke is a positive.

i

7. Gonzaga Bulldogs

Expect more big things from Mark Few's squad. I know Rui Hachimura is gone, but Killian Tillie, Filip Petrusev and Corey Kispert are back. Few has brought in several transfers and the Zags will dominate the WCC again.

i

8. North Carolina Tar Heels

Roy Williams lost several key players, but he has one of the top diaper dandies in Cole Anthony. Expect more from Garrison Brooks and Brandon Robinson.

i

9. Maryland Terrapins

Mark Turgeon's team lost Bruno Fernando and little else. Anthony Cowan Jr. will be the leader and Jalen Smith is a factor up front.

i

10. Virginia Cavaliers

The defending national champs lost stars like Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome, but the returning nucleus will be fine. Expect improvement from Braxton Key.

i

11. Memphis Tigers

Penny Hardaway has brought in a world of talent and the expectations at his alma mater are high. James Wiseman is one of the premier diaper dandies, but this squad is very young.

i

12. Villanova Wildcats

Collin Gillespie will be a major factor. Jay Wright has several frontcourt players ready to step up, led by Jermaine Samuels.

i

13. Arizona Wildcats

Sean Miller's team suffered a blow when Brandon Williams was lost for the season. Miller has enough young talent to return to glory in the Pac-12.

i

14. Texas Tech Red Raiders

Chris Beard got to the title game last year. Jarrett Culver and several key veterans are gone, but Beard will have enough back to make noise.

i

15. Seton Hall Pirates

Kevin Willard was thrilled when Myles Powell opted to return. The Pirates will battle Villanova for supremacy in the Big East.

i

16. Ohio State Buckeyes

Kaleb Wesson's return has the Buckeyes thinking big. Luther Muhammad also returns and the addition of CJ Walker will help.

I personally dont mind Dickie V's list. But tbh it's because he's got Kansas #1, thts acceptable to me. I think Duke is overrated, but thats every year no??

A big YIKES on the Nick Ward comment tho. MSU will be much better upfront without him.

Karim Mane turned 19 in may. So he was actually old enough for last years draft, even though right now he's a senior in HS... Nonetheless, he can declare for 2020.

Gonzaga's Joel Ayayi is gonna be a guard who draws more and more attention as the season progresses. Despite redshirting a year He's still just 19 y/o Sophomore. French kid.

CHECK THIS OUT!!!! This kid from the Netherlands is 6'8" and he's a wing. and he's gonna pass the eye test with flying colors this year at Kansas.

Tristan Enaruna is a better prospect than Iggy Bradzeikis from last year, no doublt about it (I was here posting bout Iggy way in advance too..) He will have an easier time establishing himself in the 1st rd i think...

CBS Sports polled 100 college coaches on who they think wins the championship and MSU got more than 50% of the votes?!? I truly believe thats a formation of experience being overrated.... How is Louisville not in the top-5 vote getters or below Duke for that matter? WTF?

Kansas only 17% of the vote??

LaMelo's Debut in the NBL was yesterday. 11FGA's in 17 mins... He's coming off the bench but has the greenlight...

5/11 fg's, 2/5 from 3, 6 boards, 5 assists 2 steals.

U cant even convince me that at the end of the season Utah wouldnt LOVE to trade Mitchell straight up for the rights to Edwards..

#1 ranked JUCO x-fer Jay Scrubb has committed to UL, but it still seems like the doors open and he's gonna test the NBA waters this offseason.

Lets talk quality control.fake news and more importantly the gullible *** fans who instantly believe such things like "Marvin Bagley is 6'8"... How does such a thing gain traction? well because people believe headlines, they dont use their brains for critical thinking, they use them to do what their told..

their eye test is poor, in accuracy, but more specifically in confidence... why have an eye test when you can just piggy back someone else whos got a respectable one??? yahtzee... thats it... thats the echo chamber ive been speaking about for years...

if you behave in such a manner though, you never improve... someone like me, whos veiwed as defiant, though im really just trying to learn more.. my eyetest improves by leaps and bounds every season..

why go thru all that trouble when you can just echo someone elses... thats the mindset i think thats pervaded sports fans... its why the books make a killing everyyear...
