Yeah, I lived with a black woman for seven years who grew up in the hood, and was on intimate terms with her entire, large family and black friends, and still am. It's not easy to do dialect either. I thought he did a good job, considering it was consistent throughout. Maybe I'm just dumb, but considering I have a grad degree in Creative Writing, I think my opinion is worth something.
I stand corrected. Ain't did a really good stereotypical "impression" of a black person. I had no idea you lived with a black person who also grew up in the hood and that you got intimate with her extended family and still do.
I will defer to your expertise on issues regarding black people from now on.

Why are you posting things I wrote in May? Why are you picking fights with me. You think you're so wonderful because you think you're so popular here. I've been on here a lot longer than you, and maybe only a couple others besides Jason have been here longer. I didn't bring it up. Jonah started implying I was mentally ill for saying that not passing laws for gun control after all that has happened is insane. I never said Babe was mentally ill; I said the ideas in his post were "crazy." So, Jonah starts attacking me personally. This is the same thing that happened with Aint. I was attacked personally for my ideas, not attacking other people like a lot of a-holes on this site have done for years now, mostly since Deron joined the Jazz. Funny, how coincidentally, Deron himself was a very toxic personality because he brought with him a toxic ambience that hasn't left this site, though I would say it's a lot better now than it was at that time.
I don't think I'm wonderful. I'm a very very self conscious person. If you say I'm popular here, well, maybe that's because I've treated the overwhelming majority of people well. I've met MANY of the frequent posters in real life, invited them into my home, met them at bars and bowling alleys, or to watch a game together. I've been really involved in this community since about 2008. But I'm sure I'm less popular and less liked right now than I used to be. I've behaved badly recently. I've tried to own up to that while not disengaging with the community here. As much as I've behaved badly recently, none of that has anything to do with my interactions with you. I have NOT treated you unfairly. I have not gone out of line with you. I have nothing to apologize to you for or anything I've done in regard to you that I regret.
I'm not mean spirited to you. I've tried to be honest with you. I'm sorry that you have such a tenuous relationship with reality that you view honesty as an attack.

Calling someone mentally-ill is very mean-spirited. Even if the person is mentally ill, and I'm not. I actually worked with mentally ill people when I was younger. I admit I am an off-the-beaten track person with independent ideas which are not based on anything superficial but on close consideration of the facts, looking at all side. For example, the vaccine issue. While I said from the start that I'm not anti-vaccine only that there is evidence that some vaccines have problems, and this is based on scientific studies, I've been labeled an anti-vaxx nut. No, I don't trust Big Pharma, which is one of the most corrupt and dishonest industries in the world and there is plenty of evidence to support that, ok. People said Galileo was nuts because he insisted the earth revolved around the sun and was forced to recant by the Pope. So, when people say something that is against the mainstream view, it's normal for people to say they're nuts. I am not. Emotional, passionate, hyper-sensitive, I plead guilty but totally sane. Eventually, though, I might go insane after 20 years of posting here.
