What's new

So this is the 20 year anniversary of Jazzfanz

Calling someone mentally-ill is very mean-spirited. Even if the person is mentally ill, and I'm not. I actually worked with mentally ill people when I was younger. I admit I am an off-the-beaten track person with independent ideas which are not based on anything superficial but on close consideration of the facts, looking at all side. For example, the vaccine issue. While I said from the start that I'm not anti-vaccine only that there is evidence that some vaccines have problems, and this is based on scientific studies, I've been labeled an anti-vaxx nut. No, I don't trust Big Pharma, which is one of the most corrupt and dishonest industries in the world and there is plenty of evidence to support that, ok. People said Galileo was nuts because he insisted the earth revolved around the sun and was forced to recant by the Pope. So, when people say something that is against the mainstream view, it's normal for people to say they're nuts. I am not. Emotional, passionate, hyper-sensitive, I plead guilty but totally sane. Eventually, though, I might go insane after 20 years of posting here.
I said some honest things in a PM that you now want to take into the public discussion. I have no intention of continuing the PM conversation you initiated in public.

In regard to my "mentally ill" comments, I didn't call you mentally ill. Here's what I said "You have legit mental problems that impair your ability to understand reality and most definitely skew the way you perceive your own behaviour."

Okay big guy? I'm moving on for the night.

Well, I think you're wrong.

I haven't been around that long but I still remember the day I lost a bet to trout. It was a sad day indeed. Broncster is by far the easiest to win a bet on

I started back in 2005. Became somewhat of a known poster. Got banned. Took a hiatus for a couple years, just lurked, laughed at all the bad takes, came back a couple years ago under this moniker, jazzfanz has never been better.

I was in a bad headspace and I quarreled with half the forum when I left. Now, 7 years later, I’m rich, got a hot wife, have a baby on the way, and have a lot of positive vibes. Im just here to have a good time and spew hot takes. Im afraid if I reveal who I was, I’d burn a lot of bridges with folks in here I otherwise have an indifferent relationship.

I remember u too wes good to see the old guard is still around.

Jason, Im trying to remember what year did you leave the Rivals site? I can't remember what year I joined. All I remember is that I found an Jazzfanz advertisement on my windshield at the Rocky Mountain Revue at SLCC.

When you repeat the non-existent problems propagandized by the anti-vax movement, you are anti-vax, even if you are in denial about it. Robert F. Kennedy still denies being anti-vax. It's as believable as your modern-day Nazi claiming not to be racist (yes, many make that claim).

No, I don't trust Big Pharma,

Most of the pro-vaccine posters here recognize that Big Pharma is much more about profit than human health. Nonetheless, vaccines are safe, reliable, and the side effects are minimal and well-known, and don't match up with the anti-vax propaganda you spew.

People said Galileo was nuts because he insisted the earth revolved around the sun and was forced to recant by the Pope.

You've also got the story wrong on Galileo.

Were you here then? I wasn't the only one. Though Colton never found evidence, he was suspicious enough to check it out.

Oh, please. I was not suspicious at all. You bugged me about it so I did a little bit of research on my own (probably checked IP addresses, maybe posting times or things like that). And I found no evidence.

Plus Vinylone also thought the same thing. And stopping bringing this crap up, will you please. It was over 10 years ago. Why are you picking fights with me? Because I disagreed with some of your posts. Grow up.

You are the one who brought it up in this thread!!

They started talking about black dialect, and that led into it. I didn't just bring it up. I still believe it. I wish now I had kept all that info I had collected, especially the 30 page dialogue between the two. It did exist. That's like what, 300 or so responses just between two people, arguing in the same rhetorical style … There were similar interaction on his website, as well, and he even explained what the dialect of Ain't was, calling it southern Illinois trailer-park, or something like that. That wasn't Ain't's description but OB's. I don't care anymore. I have even tried to be friends with him but he won't have anything to do with that because I refuse to believe that he isn't Ain't.

so what's that saying? the more things change, the more they stay the same?

or something like that...

(and you know that means I'm gonna post a music video now, don't you?)

I've been asked to not reply to you about this history, and I probably should not. Nonetheless, I will.

Vinylone was trolling you when he pretended to agree with you. Anyone with a half-functioning brain was aware of how fond Vinylone was of agreeing with stuff he thought ridiculous.

aintnuthin claimed to be from a trailer park in Mascoutah, and I may have repeated that, but I would never have associated his patois with such a location.

I have plenty of people to argue with, I have never needed to invent them.

What you call "the same rhetorical style" I call "using logic, evidence, and precise language", a process that seems to elude you in practice.

We will not be friends, nor even friendly, as you as you insist on saying that I am a liar and possibly psychotic because of this issue. I'm not sure why you find that hard to believe.

You were wrong, are wrong, likely will continue to be wrong.

Best part of Jazzfanz is it keeps me feeling connected to the team without paying for season tickets.

Worst part is the bickering.

Strangest part is the ads pushed at me when I visit the site. Asian women, russian women, dating sites and that one really disturbing shampoo ad that was around for months.
Ads are based on your search history... ...just saying.

I was write4u until I accused OneBrow of being Aintnuthin, but I got so much grief I changed to Eenie-Meenie. I still believe OneBrow was Aintnuthin. He still denies it.

Oh man, am I glad this has come back up. Eenie, you and I have had our differences, but you are 100% right on this one. If you go back, you'll note that I've ALWAYS believed you.

That one time when you had to eat your pooh? That was phenomenal.

FWIW, I was here before all of you dinks.
