Kavanaugh Back in the News

I don't think he intended to, but that's pretty much what happened.

I’m not particularly moved that his repeated hate and bad behavior is getting attention. If that is a problem perhaps he should change his ways. The answers in there only solidified my stance.

Legit question, if you truly felt something, or someone, was hate based you’d call it out right?

No specifics?

You can remember the the precise dates of times of parties that happened 30 years ago?

So absolutely nothing but hearsay with absolutely no evidence? If that makes you believe and want to portray guilt of sexual assault on someone than I really don't know. That's an insanely dangerous precedent you're setting. Basically every single person ever is guilty before any trial.

I was unaware Kavanaugh was on trial. In fact, I'm 99% certain that any putative crimes would have long since passed the statute of limitations, and so he could not be charged, regardless of evidence. Therefore, any discussion about a trial is silly and distracting. The real question is whether we believe the tales, and if so, do we want someone who did such things and believes them to be acceptable behavior as a judge.

I don't know if he's guilty or not but as I said this is absolutely insane how people are so quick to scream guilty. There's 100% an ulterior motive here. Is Antonio Bryant guilty? Is Clinton guilty? Again extremely dangerous

I don't know who Antonio Bryant is. If you mean Bill Clinton, yeah, he's guilty. I regret that I ever supported him. However, I don't think he's on trial, either.

You completely side skirted my main question about the specific things that make you think he's guilty but that's cool, I really don't care.

You seem pretty obsessed with the notion of "guilty" as opposed to 'did he do that stuff in college'.

Having been to a Catholic high school and college in the years shortly before and during Kavanaugh's tenure there, and having known a lot of the frat boys, I don't find claims like 'dropped his pants and pulled out his pecker' take much evidence to be believable. It was pretty standard hi-jinks back then, you would occasionally hear students talk about it the next couple of days. So yeah, I believe it because that's what drunken frt guys often did, and Kavanaugh wouldn't have been particularly unusual in doing it.

We all do stupid stuff when we are young. If Kavanaugh had/would say 'Yeah, I did stupid stuff, I regret doing it, and I have learned to be a better person since', he'd have my support. Instead, he seems intent on defending and justifying himself. That's my real problem with him.

So you have absolutely nothing besides "we all do stupid stuff"? Damn... Better impeach him right now.
