Pretty sure we've had 6-7 threads on streaming and getting games this season. I'm curious in actually doing a poll to see how many people can reliably get most games this next season. I feel like the average person's ability to view Jazz games has significantly reduced over the past decade, and it's a huge problem. We'll see what the poll says.

I'm Bernie Sanders and I think access to Utah Jazz games is your right as an American citizen. It's not just for the billionaires!

Problem is the stupid AT&T sports contract that the Jazz need to get out of. Make it so that we can use a normal TV streaming service such as youtubeTV, slingTV or fuboTV to catch the Jazz games. AT&T only ran deals with the big pricey TV providers. I’ll personally roll with NBA league pass again.

I'm using Xfinity (Comcast) this year. I loved watching games on Dish because I could get instant replays of the action. Unfortunately, Dish upped their cost to around $180 per month, so I dropped them and went back to Comcast.

At some point, I'm going to drop cable all together.

I dropped those thieves a good while ago.

Yes, probably through NBA League Pass. But I’ll definitely look for a better option once the regular season gets closer.

The problem I have is that my homeowners association includes basic cable as part of the dues, so I'm paying for cable whether I use it or not. Right now, my Xfinity bill is $104/month, which includes the internet.

That sucks, cut that bill in half and that’s where I’m at, and the most important, no surprise bill raises.

What's reliable access? I mean, I've found that illegal streams are super reliable and require less effort than an average person thinks. For the past 4-5 years, I've been able to watch every single game I've wanted without paying, and usually in HD. On my part, I think I had to keep track of maybe 2-3 different websites to accomplish that, so hardly some elite level of IT expertise.

I'm actually shocked when people talk about difficulty finding streams. Google alone will yield instant, legitimate results. I suppose an ad-blocker is a must, but then I can't comprehend that someone in this day and age would be using internet at all without an ad-blocker. It's like driving without being buckled in. It's so 1986.

Haven’t had cable/sat tv in more than a decade, haven’t lived in Utah for 10 years. I get all my streams from pirates. I’m sure I have a lot of viruses but I’m married with a kid now so I have no real sexual use for my genitalia anyhow now.

Thanks for reading,
UB

I wonder if I have an add blocker. I have no idea if I do or not.

If y'all elect me Jazzfanz President I will tax PKM at a rate of 1 dollar per post and pay for all of us to have league pass and a VPN. Access to Jazz games is a basic human right.
Retroactive or from here on out? If the latter, good luck.

I had Dish for 4 years. I was paying $70/month and I had the most basic package with the regional sports (no ESPN or TNT). I cancelled in May. When I cancelled they offered to drop my price to $39/month, then $29/month (would have only worked for the summer.) I did something like this last summer, but I was sick of Dish so I cancelled.

Now the cheapest I can find is $80/month for 24 months with Dish (price lock, DirectTV is cheaper for one year, but jacks it up for the next 12 months.)

All I want TV for is Jazz games. I barely watch Netflix. No one in my family watches TV. I don’t want to pay $1000/year to watch Jazz games.

We need to pull the heart strings of Gail Miller. The Jazz are supposed to be “a gift to Utah” but people can’t afford tickets or cable anymore. It needs to go back to KJZZ. Maybe we can build momentum prior to the next contract negotiation.

Access to live streaming games has come a long way in the last couple years.

But I'm still more content just buying NBALP and not having to think about it.
