IT'S ON: Utah Jazz v. OKC Thunder -- Game 1

On the Dunc'd On podcast, they said OKC was 6/16 in the restricted area. They both said it was a comically low amount of attempts and makes. They couldn't think off the top of their head of any game that had those low of numbers.

And to the KK haterz, here she is near the top of /r/nba for her slipping up and calling Adam Silver a big nosed mofo

Don't say huge nose don't say huge nose don't say huge nose ****

It was the Thunder....
...
...

The Jazz ARE NOT elite.

Nearly half the team is new and you expected us to be elite right from the start of the season?
And Thunder is actually still a dangerous team, have you seen Chris Paul playing tonight? It's not like we played Knicks or Suns.

Dude they deliver!

75 glorious inches...
Projectors are the way to go! I just grabbed a 4k laser one that projects upward onto the wall. It's an ultra short throw projector so if it's 21cm from the wall the screen is 100". But it goes way bigger. Plus it was cheap ($1100 usd) and has a pretty fast built in Android system and decent HiFi stereo speaker system.

He was doing 2 on 2's a couple of weeks ago, can't be more than a couple weeks at most, no? I think it is more a conditioning thing rather than injury. With the way the other backup pg played, he better think about taking some chances though.

I think The Jazz have given up on Exum as a PG.

hahahahaha! Oh my. LOL.

And Jazz fans panicked when we lost preseason games lol.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Donovan Mitchell is going to have a HUGE year. Look at his efficiency last night. All because he's not the only offensive weapon anymore. The driving lanes he had last night were beautiful. They can't leave our shooters.

Bogey was great. Mudiay played well. Conley will be fine. It's a actually a good sign that Conley was off and we still won.

Yep.

Donovan is going to have a major jump in efficiency. He cares about it. He knows his efficiency has been low, but he has sacrificed that because the Jazz needed him to carry the offense. Now he's going to be rewarded with easier opportunities.

Conely is a great player and a great fit. It's going to click sooner rather than later and it's gonna be awesome.

I haven't read much of a thread due to being at the game. Here are some of my thoughts:

- Our three point game did not ever seem to get going. Everything else looked good, though. Conley aside, I suppose. We only took 24 threes and only hit 6. Pretty impressive to win shooting so little/poorly from three. I'm awaiting seeing us bombing threes and us picking up 10 point leads fast.

- What the hell was up with the free-throw discrepancy? 31-20 in favor of OKC. At the very end of the game when they were intentionally fouling us, they weren't even in the penalty.

- Mudiay has looked very good. Anyone not see him being a rotation piece?

- Didn't think Donovan would look this good / make it look this easy. I had said that I thought he'd only increase scoring a little. Perhaps I'm wrong. If this is any indication of his efficiency...

- Jazz hates Mudiay, I'm sure. Look for the Mudiay arguments to come out of the woodwork.

- Defense was much better.

- Ed is good.

- Didn't realize Rudy played so many minutes.
