At Least the JVs Won

Well no they didn't despite playing a strong 2nd and 3rd quarter. Got outscored in the 4th by 14 to lose by 7. Game was tied late and Howard, JWF, Brantley and Herpes all missed bunnies. Howard, Herpes, JWF and Blueitt were in double figures. Oni looked bad, really bad. Howard at times looked like an NBA player. Sioux Falls had a dude that blocked 7 shots 6 in the first half.

I didn't realize Howard stuck around, that's cool. Figured he would have gone back for a bigger paycheck overseas.

Oni played bad. Dumb turnovers and bad shooting. He's has had games like this in the past. In the NCAA tourney he had a really bad shooting game. Can he turn it around? Yes, of course. He can shoot.

*Positives
- He rebounded really well. He can jump and power people.
- He had some nice full length court passes.
- The steals. I loved where ripped a steal and 3/4 court pass for someone underneath the basket for an easy score - all under a second.

Watched some highlights. Wright-Foreman played well. +8 (the next closest player was +1) with some nice lob passes to Haas.

The Stars dug a hole early, righted the ship and then couldn't finish late. I noticed Collinsworth did not play. This should have been a game where he would shine.

Another loss by the Stars by 6 on the road to Iowa a TWolves farm team. JWF had 32 for the Stars. Morgan had a double double for the Stars and Collinsworth almost did with 17 points 9 boards. Oni and Brantley did not play. Howard did not look as good as game 1. I think Herpes was in double figures.

JWF 32 points - zero assists.

He must think he's back at Hofstra.

Dish or not, kid can absolutely light it up. Will take some time to learn a new position. Game before this looks like he had 17pts, 4Assists 2 boards.

When did Herpes Hans leave 1280 to play basketball?

Double digit win over Sioux Falls. JWF did not play. Leading scorer Morgan, leading rebounder Collinsworth, leading assister Oni with 8 dimes. NWG played well as did Howard, Bluett, Haas, Brantley, Scott. Three in a row over teams with winning records. I would like to see Bradley and Kidd get some burn down here too.

I've always liked Morgan. I think if he can prove he can shoot 3s consistently he could replace Niang or Kidd next year.

Stars win 5th in a row at Rio Grande Valley 124-122 as Brantley, Howard, JWF, had monster games with Bluett and Pryor in double figures. The Jazz might want to waive NWG and sign Howard. He is playing really well and I could see an NBA team pouncing on him.
