Jazz @ Grizzlies 6:00pm (MST) on ESPN

Exum is a case for a psychological study on fandom. He benefits from actually not playing, growing in legend as though he is actually good at basketball while also getting the benefit of pity and fallacy that he has all this untapped upside.
Hater

He spaces the floor.

What function does Mudiay serve when he doesn't have the ball? Or Exum? The answer is taking the ball out of Ingles' hands.
I somewhat understand why we went away from Neto but I miss that handsome bastard.

I agree with this. Green didn't even look like he was trying tonight. For some reason he played more minutes than any of our bench guys.

Why’d we go away from him? He’s only making $200k more than NWG. Is it because he’s injured? Because how many times has Quin gone to NWG? And even though Neto would be injured 50% of the time Quin would otherwise have gone to him, those are situations where 99% of the time he wouldn’t go for NWG...

My understanding was that we couldn't do the Conley or Bogdanovic deals with Neto's salary on the books. But if the Jazz could've, that's a low-key biggish whiff.

from our side his injuries... from his side I think he wanted the backup role and I’m guessing that was earmarked for Exum. NWG was more likely to take the 3rd string role I’m guessing.

I only kind of understand... not all the way.

Yeah, it ended up not being true but they had definitely put that spin out there.

I think he signed at very close to the minimum... may have been just enough for him to sneak away.

Would like to get Caruso. With Mudiay playing well, would anyone trade him for Caruso? I know FO wouldn’t, but would you?

I was reminded tonight that we probably could have snuck Exum into the Conley deal instead of Crowder. I doubt they would have held up the deal... Exum is a huge blind spot for DL.

Lakers wouldn’t do that deal... Caruso will never happen and it’s a damn shame.

We could have Crowder instead of Green and a Korver instead of Niang. Or at least instead of Kidd.
