Unleash Brantley

As soon as they unleash the Brantley we'll start seeing posts saying how unready he is and he needs to spend more time in G League.

That's why I said would if he was there on the floor at the end, get it ?
You didn't add a caveat. You just said he would have had that rebound. You want to add the caveat now, that's your prerogative I guess. But it's not what you said.

Looking around the league at the success of some of the rookies... makes me think maybe we shouldn't just say a player can't contribute to winning as a rook... give the kid a chance.

I don't think we have anything to lose. I'd support it.

I'm all for this.

Could be the perfect missing ingredient for this team.
Or he could look like a second round rookie.

But we'd know.

I'm ready pt 2. No more Niang, no more Bradley. And if Green is playing like pure dog ****, let him sit.

Not that playing them has to be mutually exclusive, but I still think Oni is more ready to plug and play to contribute than Brantley is.

It doesn't, but the question of need is a big one and the Jazz have one good NBA big on the roster currently (I like Davis, but all things considered, calling him "good" feels like a stretch).

I think it is a fact that the overall talent level in the nba and the draft has risen. Therefore a team can find more "gems" of talent later on in the draft. If the nba had the old rules, then teams would look for more plodding centers for an ounce of talent. Now it is guards and wings. You can be competitive with a good wing. The freakishly gifted the better but still you can be gifted with one that is smaller (look at Donovan, look at Harden).

Therefore guys like Brantley and Oni are going to be more available in the back of draft but because of the rules...they can take advantage of it, if they can develop their gufts.
