What's new

Trade/Waiver rumors ....

WCS is done. No heart.

I wouldn’t say he’s done but he only kind of likes basketball and being a big is hard. I watched him out in Sacramento for years... he sets the laziest screens. He has other interests besides basketball... which is fine but not if you want to win a title... he reminds me of AK a little. Either way I’m not interested.

I’d be thrilled with favors and happy with young. Wcs wouldn’t work, looney could.

someone who could play PF is the priority. I have no idea how we could get any of them though.

Are you an idiot or are you just trolling? At this point I dont know if it's just a clever trolling or you are really that incredibly stupid.

Ed Davis was widely considered one of the best backup centers in the league last year. He hasn't shown that with the Jazz. One year doesn't necessarily have a player drop off that bad. It could be because some players play better with better players (Joe Ingles), and the bench this year has been horrendous. It could be because he just got old, its unlikely but possible. The defense of the NBA changed overnight, it could be because of that too. All that being said, I would still take Davis over WCS.

You are comparing a defensive minded player against a offensive minded player which wont translate as easily looking at the stats. Defense and court awareness doesn't show up on a stat sheet. You saying that a scrub like WCS has better stats therefore is better is like saying that Jamal Crawford is a better player than Andre Iguodala just because he has better stats.

You're saying that stats are everything. I'm not saying Ed Davis is a good player for the Jazz at all, but he is a hell of a lot better of a player than WCS. It's not even close

Yeah, go a head and start flinging out insults because you're set on the idea that one piece of garbage is so much and obviously better - and you must be stupid or trolling if you think otherwise.

Look, dude - if Ed Davis were as good as you're making him out to be 1) he would have signed a better contract than 2 year and 10 million 2) his play would show it this year - news flash, he's not that great.

Again, I'm not saying WCS is great or anything, but I'd take him over Davis at this point. He's younger, cheaper, bigger, has a higher ceiling.

But if you're so set on saying which piece of **** stinks less then so be it. Your friend must be a gawd damn expert. First, it was because he said so and now it's because mysteriously Ed Davis was one if the "best" backups in the league last year. Lol. According to who? Your friend?

Tfohwt... I ain't got time for it

When I said done, I meant with respect to any club that’s interested in digging down and winning with him. Dude is done as far as that is concerned. He might find a second wind, but I wouldn’t count on it.

right... I expect him to bounce around the league a bit but yeah I don't even see a JaVale McGee type run. He's too indifferent when it comes to basketball.

Holy hell you're thick.

Edit: 5 million a year for a backup center who cant shoot in today's NBA is a healthy contract.

Other names circulating include:

If not Lowry, then New Orleans Pelicans guard JJ Redick could be a target of the Heat. Despite going separate ways this summer, Redick and Butler grew close in Philadelphia as like-minded competitors and, per a source, to this day they maintain regular communication through a group chat forged in Philadelphia.

As the date approaches this season, Chris Paul, Steven Adams and Danilo Gallinari have been made available, according to The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor.

It's going to be a mad scramble to get these guys because everyone is going to think this will be the thing that gives them a tactical advantage. I can see the Clippers potentially adding Redick and Adams. The Blazers going after Gallinari, and there isn't a team that wouldn't benefit from having JJ Redick on the roster.
