Dont talk him up!!! The injuries, he's lost a step, shown no desire to compete, he's a terrible teammate. We'd be doing the pelicans a favor, they'd owe us for it.

We can't get Favors back in a trade until the off-season. League rules against reacquiring a traded player prevent it.

He's not coming back this year unless he gets traded AND then gets waived AND clears waivers AND then chooses to sign with us for the minimum.

Things may have changed. I think it used to be that highest bidder got him and the waiving team pays the balance. Could be wrong but I thought you now pay the balance. If you don’t, then you’d do a buyout, but I don’t know if a buyout also means they hit the waiver wire. Things have been too complicated.

Favors cannot be traded for by the Jazz. Period. Literally cannot happen

1. This rumor was coming from a utah jazz fansite.
2. We can't get him unless he gets waived (which that isn't happening).
3. He's only played in 9 games this season.
4. He recently thought about retiring cause of his moms death
