2 Solutions We Have On Our Roster Right Now

We will have to trade Ed no matter how well he play. We simply cannot afford the luxury of paying a backup center at MLE when we have such a big hole at our PF spot. So I guess the only downside to his current crappy play is that it will bring his market value down as we look to trade him

The Jazz dont have a huge hole at PF...

If we are looking for another first round exit or second round finish at best in the playoff then yeah we dont. Good luck holding out the likes of Harrell/AD/Green/ in a 7 game series.

Like, Davis makes way more sense than Bradley with Niang and Green.

Bradley is a stationary rebounder and Davis is an active rebounder. Jazzs issue is that they have too many stationary rebounders.

On the other side Bradley makes more sense with Joe on the offensive side. Anyway, what is your idea on how to fix the bench problem?

No he doesnt lmao. Bradley is not good on the roll at all and he cant pass. He's about the same as Davis with the only difference being that Bradley is better at rebounding his own misses.

Uhh, the only guy on there that is at all terrifying is AD and that is going to be the case regardless of who your backup PF is.

Prior to this season we held an overall winning record against AD under Quin with the PFs that we had, so I don't know where you get the "terrifying" idea. And we are currently looking for a starting PF, not just a backup. You think Royce/Green/Niang is gonna hold out against any other starting PFs from teams in the playoff and win us a championship? If you wanna think that way then I not gonna stop you. Let me know when you wanna wake up

Super limited sample but Bradley has been really great as a roll man this year and Ed has been horrid. Tony can’t pass doe.

Yes.

You guys are really really stupid about this.

Yes, against AD.

Against AD and Lebron....

What starting PF's yall so scared of?

Dwight Powell?
PJ Tucker?
Mo Harkless?
Dario Saric?
Paul Millsap?
Nemanj Bjelica?

Im shaking in my boots at all this PF talent that starts in the West.

The fact that he rebounds his own misses means that he actually gets his shot off, Davis is usually not even able to catch the ball. I know it's a small sample but Bradley actually hasn't been only rebounding his own misses this season, his finish around the rim really improved.

Let's have some fun Tuesday and let our bench be Bradley, Morgan, DedEx, NWG and JWF and see how it does. Do it Quin and DL. Make it happen.

Niang hasn’t been nearly as bad as many of you claim. It seems like at least twice a game our defensive breakdowns leave him in an impossible situation as the last rotator. For ball-watchers, this means he sucks. But he doesn’t.

Ed Davis has definitely been a big problem, though. I’d love it if all his minutes went to Bobby Portis. (Or, alternatively, if Davis could figure out wtf is wrong with his hands).

His hands are Ded.

All of them would have started over Royce, Jeff and Niang. Com'on now. How hard is this for you man?

Bradley is not good as a roll man. I really don't care what a 15 possession sample size says at all.
You been watching practices or something... how can you declare the guy a bad roll man (or the same as Davis) when the only sample size he’s given us has been solid? It’s fine to say it’s inconclusive... tough to say he’s bad.

I feel like when Ed and Ingles run a pick and roll it results in a turnover like every time... he’s not a threat to do anything... how bad does he have to play before they go to Bradley... why keep Bradley around if you don’t think he can play better than the level Ed’s giving us?

Well, for one, Tony can actually catch the ball, and two, he has decent post moves -- neither of which Ed has. Davis is a better rebounder, however, but neither a rim protectors.

The main reason we held AD down was Favors who pretty much played AD even in their matchup. In any case, everyone knows we need a PF and that's where DL screwed up ... But it appears he screwed up quite a bit the last couple of years.
