Addressing our deficit at power forward

People know Aminu is out with a torn meniscus right? They actually just came out on the 28th and said he's not healing well either and people still want to trade for him? gtfo
Yes, because that makes his value to Orlando decrease. Of course Aminu has a lot of weaknesses that are outlined above — that’s what makes him a more realistic target for us. The biggest thing about him is that he’s a bench piece, he’s a good defender, he can switch, he’s big enough to at least put a body on LeBron and Kawhi, and he actually grabs rebounds. The fact that he’s only a passable shooter from deep indicates that he can actually hit from three.

It’s the starting unit my man so 100% of those minutes are with the starters. You are hung up on Royce’s height. Hes doing great there. Draymond played center in the death lineups and I think he came in at 6’6”.

Rudy is obviously a big reason why that works, but if we had a solid backup you could run Niang or o e of the g league guys at 4 and be fine. Ed Muck’s up the offense all by himself and is fine on defense but not good enough to make up for his *** offense.
"Royce is doing great at 4"...? What numbers besides the +/- support this claim? Royce currently averages 6pt and 5reb in 29 min of play and holds a PER of 9.3, that is ranked 11th on this team. Royce is a good player don't get me wrong. But his values came as a wing. He brings nothing on the table as a 4. You mentioned Draymond but he is still bigger than Royce by enough margin which allows him to rebound and guard most big men in the league.

And like I said, Royce is a great player. But having him at the 4 still only works with an elite center like Rudy. And now we are substituting Royce with a significantly worse player in Niang, you believe it somehow would only require a backup center that is less than Rudy to make it work?
