20 point win on the road vs Clipps JVs. JWF with the bagel, zero points, Oni looked like a ball player tonight. Oni, NWG, Pryor, Bluiett, White, Brantley and Haas in double figures. Collinsworth still sick. Bluiett 6-8 from 3,

Stars win again vs Memphis in a game it looked like they would lose. Oni 28 points, Brantley 24, NWG 24, Bluiett 18. JWF fouled out in a subpar outing.

The game tonight was for first place in the western conference. It looked like the Stars were dead and Bluiett brought them back to life with a steal and a couple of baskets late in the 4th. Then Oni, NWG and Brantley cleaned up the mess.

He's streaky I think. Jarrell is damn good, so is Bluet. I imagine Jarrell needs to be the focal point of an offense, Bluet is a shooter/scorer, and Oni will be a great glue guy that can do a wide range of things (my dream is an Ingles type with athleticism).

Last night JWF looked just awful. Maybe he was sick or had a minor injury or it was a matchup that he doesn't do well against. Brantley made some moves that I'm not sure would be successful in the show. He was a human wrecking ball last night though.

Brantley will need to refine a few of his back-down moves since he won't get that deep in the paint at the next level. Quin probably won't want him doing much of that though since it slows down the possession. His handle, his passing, his spot-ups, and some of his drives in space should translate. I haven't seen him play out of the pick and roll much. That would be the next thing for him to refine.

On defense, it looks like some of the longer, bouncier wings and forwards can turn and shoot over him. He had this issue with Josh Jackson and Devontae Cacok.

Interesting GLeague matchup tomorrow as the Stars visit Maine and potentially you have 7'2" Isaac Haas vs 7'6" Tacko Fall. The Stars signed a GLeague draft pick Kyle Castlin out of Columbia and didn't waive anyone. I wonder if that means JWF gets to stay with the varsity for awhile.

The Stars lost William Howard when Houston picked him up, and I don't think his spot was replaced on the roster. JWF is playing with the Jazz to help Conley do one-on-one and two-on-two workouts as part of his rehab.

I know where I'll be!

To put the cherry on a bad day the Stars lost by 4 to the Celts GLeague team. Brantley played like a boss. No JWF, NWG, Oni, or Morgan. Bluiett, Brantley, Collinsworth, Pryor, Scott and Benlevi in double figures for the Stars. Stars only suited up 9 and played a guy off the street as part of the 9. Stars outscored by 10 in the 4th. Sounds familiar.

Brantley with another good game against Westchester -- 26p/8r/4a/1s/2b. He was 1/6 from 3pt, which is the one thing he needs to boost. The rest of his offensive game is starting to open up.

Jarrell Brantley's last 5 games: 24.2 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 4.2 apg, 1.4 spg, 0.6 bpg

Only caveat is that he shot 28% from 3pt on over 6 attempts per game.

That three point percentage has to come up. Stars lost another close one by 4 again. They are playing this road trip with 9 players including the guy they signed off the street. Collinsworth had 15 boards for the Stars.

He is shooting the above the break 3 at a respectable clip @34%, its his corner three's that is causing him grief. I know he is one 1 of 10 from the left corner and he isn't much better from the right corner.
