the paradox is Quin's game emphasizes on hustle play and energy on D. yet he limit himself to a bunch of un-athletic dudes with extremely limited tools and can't muscle with their opponents no matter how hard they try... like asking niang to tighten up his intensity on defense, as if it's gonna make a difference...The question I have is why are the young guys even around? Quin won't play them and you have a no hustle game like tonight and I just shake my head.
as long as Conley is gone. This is exciting, a big trade might happen tomorrow regarding the Jazz after losing 5 straight. No way we rolling with this bunch in the playoffs.
Taking a lot of heat for ones decisions (or indecisions) is often the largest motive for doubling down. This is exciting, a big trade might happen tomorrow regarding the Jazz after losing 5 straight. No way we rolling with this bunch in the playoffs.
been saying it for a long time. conley and DM gotta be put into 2 different lineups. split their minutes as much as possible. The DM/Conley pairing just isn’t working. Problem is his contract is basically immovable.
Watch nothing happen tomorrow because ‘we like our guys’.

Spot on.I'm definitely on the trade Conley train. He's a good to really good player, but his impact on our other players of importance negates anything good he does. There's only one ball, and it don't move as good when Conley plays...period. Joe and Donovan get fewer touches/shots, even Bojan is in a funk. Some of that is weak vs strong teams, but that crap show we just watched was pure unadulterated excrement. Trading for Conley was worth a shot, it didn't work. Donovan and Joe are worse players when Conley plays. Let's let Mudiay have his role back and send Conley on his way somewhere else for a 3 or 4 that can defend, even if we have to take back a bad contract.

Conley isn't a bad player or a bad dude. But he does disrupt who we are when we are at our best. He should be traded before the deadline. There is a trade out there. We just have to find it.

Except there isn’t. The only trade available for Conley would be Kevin Love
NY would love to have him. There are other moves we could do.
The Knicks and Hornets have talked Rozier for Randle. How about:name any realistic ones

The Knicks and Hornets have talked Rozier for Randle. How about:
Knicks get Rozier, Biyombo, Ed Davis
Hornets get Randle, Conley
Jazz get Portis, Marvin Williams, Ntilikina
No picks are even needed. Everybody gets what they want. Hell, Charlotte is actually legit with a new big and solid PG. Knicks get a PG who fits. We get a young big and a young perimeter defender for Conley.
