Jazz v. Suns -- tipping now...

Donovan needs to put this team on his shoulders. Needs to tell them all to wake up to do it though, and he wants to be liked instead.

I really like Donovan but he's no LeBron. He can't do it alone and looks as if he's not going to get any help from this gutless group.

I take no joy in watching Conley play like he is right now. Tonight he had only 1 assist, 3 turnovers, 8 points with zero 3pt shots, and 3 fouls trying to guard Rubio. He didn't run the offense, he didn't have much gravity making guys guard him, and he had no defensive presence whatsoever. Guys did whatever they wanted against him.
What was he supposed to do? Coach pulls him after every other play, particularly a missed shot, how do you get any rhythm. 22 stinkin minutes. Clarkson got more minutes than he did again. O'Neale got more minutes. And this is the guy we sold our souls to get. There's always a bigger picture that I think a lot of people are oblivious to.

Agreed 1000%. I've been posting about this over the last handful of games. Someone on this team needs to be an a** when the team is slacking and call everyone out on their s***. We have a bunch of great guys. Which is good. But sometimes leadership requires someone who will get p***ed off and be an a**

For a team that had a legit shot at second seed just a short time ago this is nuts.

Something has to be horribly wrong in the Utah Jazz locker room. Did someone ****s another player's wife? I mean seriously, games can get away from you on any given night, but this team looks like they don't want the other players on their own team to succeed.

This season has had massive highs and massive lows. I think right now the Jazz have to be at a season low. Either they respond or fold. I have no confidence in either outcome.

I disagree. I think trading all of that for Conley has:

a. Gutted this team of key role players who did all the dirty work that our scorers are unwilling or unable to do. As I’ve stated before, Conley can’t play with Mitchell. He’s too ball dominate and he makes us a defensive liability.
b. Trading the best chemistry players from the past few years for crap absolutely messed with this team. Crowder, Favors, and rubio all had Mitchell’s back in always that ive never seen Conley.

that Conley trade ****ed us over.

Rudy is the only guy that Donovan confronts. They're always having finger pointing guess on the court. It's weird. Mitchell needs to do that with everyone. This team needs it.

They need a leader bad. If DM wants to take that next step, he needs to turn into a Chris Paul and be a badass, imo. This team needs one.

We don’t need another prima dona who burns bridges.

We need players like rubio and Favors who’ll show up every night and be content with not chucking the ball every time they touch it.

Anyone trying to pin all our troubles on Conley hasn't been paying attention. This whole team has no pride and lacks the desire to Play to a level to succeed.

The stats might bear your argument. But let me ask, who were the emotional leaders of the team the last two seasons? So now Jae and Ricky are gone, and we are suprised the team looks and sounds lifeless?

Jazz got their 'star' player, and all it cost them was their soul and a few draft picks.

That's the point. He's not able to do much.

The bigger picture is that the Jazz aren't very athletic, so when they get stretched out against a good shooting team, their defense is easy to attack.

DM is our best player. Besides Rudy everyone else is a borderline starter at best. No one else can lead this team like Mitchell could. He just doesn't though.

Conley's performance is so bad that he can't even compare with some rookies.
There is no appearance of a veteran who has been playing for more than ten years.
It's rubbish.
Bad passing choice, easy to touch, bad shooting feel.
Bad team chemistry.
We gave away the soul of the team in order to get him.
We're idiots.
Now I'm embarrassed to say I'm a jazz fan in front of my friends.
A worthless deal.

Sure, and after until the roll we were on ended. It's nothing personal about Mike. He's just a bad fit that cost us way too much.
I never liked the deal at all. Go back look at my posts, I was rallying for a big bodied point like D'Russ, G. Hill back or Brogdon, a guy we didn't have to sell the farm to get. The difference is, I've reconciled myself with what is and am rooting for it to take hold and work. It doesn't do any good during the regular season to bemoan something that can't be changed (for now).

He doesnt need to be a DWill bitch throwing the ball at Hayward. He just needs to keep these players accountable.

Sure, but this has nothing to do with saying others are loving these losses.

Yeah but coach needs to give him more slack like he does for Clarkson and thank you for acknowledging that Conley is not solely to blame.
